Love the game and love the thought of online multiplayer action!! Thoughts about improvements: 1) Grid layers: have a toggle switch to show grid layers, either with letters or numbers, small at top of each hex or large in middle of each hex. This would label all the inner core as 1 or A or color code one, second rotating layer as 2 or B or color two...with outer layer being number X (X=# layers) or letter X or color code X. Then people can easily see which orbit units and obstructions are in for easier planning. Again, a toggle switch. 2) In hotseat or multiplayer, there is a distinct advantage to the person going first. To offset this, allow a game toggle option to give the second player an extra energy point on each of first two turns. 3) Think bigger grids, more hotseat/multiplayer maps, and multiple player multiplayer maps, 2-5 players. Love to see this develop into perhaps the hottest and most curious of online mulitplayer turn based strategy games! Thanks.
I play extreme, hardcore, and attrition! I find the best party is fighter, cleric, rogue, ranger. Also very good, perhaps better, fighter, fighter, cleric, ranger. Ranger stun is better than mage, and conjurers aren't as effective as execute in fighter and poison/ignore armor in rogue.
cars are bought in Qubba, Smerd, Groks ususally. Some games will have the transport shops without cars. This is random. No cars when you make it to the capital, bad luck! Then you have to kill fast moving robbers for enough ATVs or start another game.
On cars: 1) get horses: only pack animal able to keep up 2) buy fuel and fuel drums. Have about 5 drums for 1000 fuel spare. 3) "driver + X" means the vehichle seats "X+1". Must have seats for all people to get car benefit of speed. Example: If you have nine people, need the hummer + hummer + single atv or 4 jeeps and an atv.
Darksevens: try a 6-9-9-1 build, or a 10-7-7-1 build on your person's starting stats. Then you should be able to take on robbers. After a couple of towns, hire some people as well.
Niel. You have PPG rockets and sniper guns to finish them off? Here's what I do. From DP assault start, leave them. You go 15Km/h. You must kill 5-6 of the 10 police groups. Head straight for Qubba, then veer off to draw them into a clumped pattern. Fight one. Then goto Qubba to heal. Fight another. Heal. etc. Good luck! It's tough!
No arty after wave 99 sucks! But does make for unique challenges...I suppose I'll roll with the punches, but arty was best way to kill tanks and marathon for big ribbon awards. Now, much tougher, relies on crates...
I love this game. But after some quests, and buy reserve troops, gets too easy. Could have an ironman option: a) limit two quests between successful city conquers b) limit reserve army to say 20 units c) no refusal of quests...I can cycle quests to get to a high money quest with low risk, hence can stack the quests. Have the normal game for learning. Ironman limits will help keep the game scale proportionate. As is, once I conquer a major city and put lots of troops in reserve, no other major city is a threat. Thanks! Loved the game.
more on the bugs:
1) stat bug: when I level and put a stat in resistance, I get +5 to that resistance. When I reload, it converts my +5/stat bump to +1/stat bump, which is how I "lose" stats by saving.
2) same item slot on reload: if I have two swords (or since there is no load screen at start, I start, choose level 1 peon, load game, and my inventory had the 3 initial items) or three earrings, the one equiped at save game won't be equipable.
if you ever fix these bugs, I'd appreciate it.
cute game for 8-14 year olds.
bugs need fixed: 1) poison temple room one respawns infinite fights...if you leave the temple. Then snakes outside temple spawns infinite fights.
2) save format stinks: I reloaded, and lost stats (I took off my equip, saved, loaded, checked, lost stats) 2b) I reloaded, and some eqipment won't equip: sharp steel sword and 4 gem shield.
hmm, how in the hell do people have scores above 20K in DTD 1.5 the 100? If I kill everything, I think it's work 19.x K score...
I beat it will 11 hearts left, the 100, and had a 17.x K score
I wish I could go from the inventory screen or the sell screen to the current map for the next fight, rather than having to click the map, select the area, then click the fight...
I can beat hard with only fly boss 56 getting by with no juggling. But the 100, even 10K money, is impossible without juggling. Was designed to juggle. P.s. I can beat medium with 2 lives left using only 15 towers.
how do I see the full high scores board? It only shows 1/4 of the screen, with Kongregate chat on side, and no slid bars?!! Thanks in advance for help.
