Great quick game. I think this would be best suited for younger kids. I agree that this should be ported as a tablet-based game so kids can have easier access to play.
SO... Since they gave out free Kreds, I decided to give the game a try just to see if it is really worth it. I really don't think that ANY of these types of games are worth actually paying money for, BUT some of them do manage to give some good game play. There is a lot about the game mechanics that could use improvements that would add to the strategy aspect, but they would likely never be implemented. That being said, this is really one of the better games of this genre. The fact that there are not tons of sparkling icons all over the screen is a good start. Next, they keep the interface clean and seamless between mobile and desktop platforms. Also, after 2 weeks of play, I managed to build up quite a respectable "free" band of characters. As long as you treat it similar to one of those idle type games, it really changes the game play perspective. However, the platform really does beg for more interactive features, which, sadly, this game will never live to see.
is anyone else having an issue with the levels not exiting? I can't exit any level once I start it. I have to reload my browser, and then it doesn't save my score.
I had to juggle this game with 2 other energy based games to keep a constant play going to get these darn badges. Doing that should add the tag "time management" :)
finally got both badges... 2/5 stars until the horrible crashing bugs are fixed. The continuity of the game is really hurt when you have to close and re-open your browser after each battle.
I think it is funny that these games are tagged as "Time Management" when really all you are doing is "wasting," not "managing." Still, they are very well-made games, even if they get rather boring after a while.
The look and feel of this game are great! I really enjoy the layout and the quick tutorial. The only thing I am having trouble with is that it doesn't fit entirely in my screen, I have to scroll up and down to see the top and bottom of the window.
phew... finally got the hard badge! Really grindy game. Basically, just go for valkyries as soon as you can and just dominate the first 3 missions until you get enough $ from accomplishments to buy the "staff of holy empire" and keep buying more until you fill all your equip slots. Then get witches and totems and beat everything to level 3 using POPO the epic dwarf. Also... only put your upgrade points into energy and attack... That should pretty much sum it up.
I think I just found a bug... I accidentally poured out the hot milk in the basement place and filled it up with water. Now I can't empty the water to fill it with milk again....
FINALLY! Took me to level 16 to get to 4k "battle rating", or whatever it is called. Now I can finally scrub out this mess from my brain and pretend I never played. I do have to say that it wasn't nearly as horrible as that last point and click disaster Kong made us play to get badges. It wasn't worth even remembering the name of it...
Might it help if you go into Fullscreen mode?
