One effective strategy is to have a fair number of monks, I had 9 for the final level. The 1st and 4th round you use the invincibility which with enough monks lasts the duration of the engagement.
I've found that the assassins are pretty overpowered. I kept them in my line up right to the end. The price + dodge and 10% chance kill make them pretty consistently awesome.
It seems like the best troop combo is the beer guys and the berserkers about 50/50. All other troop combos don't seem to be very good. It's the only combo that gets even close to the level recommendations. You can beat the whole game at level 35.
A good strategy for the final level if you have no more planets is to mine the raiders with battle harvesters. If you upgrade your capacity and weapons you can get to the point where you gain money by raiders.
Forcing the player to complete all upgrades before fighting the boss is pretty lame. If the player can beat the boss without full upgrades why not let them?
Finding ozone is a bit of a challenge thankfully once you land it you can just sit on it. @KAYBMD it would be nice to have some visual or map indication of ozone.
We're going to do that in the next patch. However, the minimum requirement to see the ozone on the map is optics MK-8. Do you think it would be useful to add it for a lower optics level?
The balance is a little off. If you focus on just archers the game is extremely easy. Also the boost you get from managing your own economy by click dragging your workers around is crazy.
I agree with the horse and elf strategy mentioned by koryiaki. But I think for the final level the fish hero and golems help. The fish because you basically have unlimited mana if you upgrade your castle fully and freeze and tidal wave are good spells if cost is not an issue. The golems seem to help do more damage.
I liket he idea of sacrificing cute animals. But I found the game itself was a little boring. Didn't really push the idea as far as it could go in terms of interesting puzzles.
Good game. I liked the updated hint system. I didn't try he previous one but it sounded like it made the game way to easy. Great game.
I had trouble finding the logical solution to the last puzzle ie no guessing. Maybe I'll try again later and see if I can beat it without guessing.
Good strategy. Upgrade health and add units and keep playing the first level. Health/num units increases the amount of money you make. Within 15 min you can max out all your units and any weapons you have unlocked. + if you find this useful.
Lots of rough edges on this game. Could be good if it was a bit more polished. The maps are not very interesting and because they make you go back and forth they break up the flow of the game.
I though the differentiation between background and foreground could also use some improvement. I remember jumping off of a platform and floating by another thinking it was an element of the background.
The weapon progression is also not terribly satisfying with each new weapon being pretty similar to the previous.
The mechanics for movement could also use some improvement this game is supposed to be about flying around kicking ass we should have double jump, dash, wall jump not to mention corresponding attacks.
I feel like this an excellent prototype for the real thing. Now go make the real one!
great game. The forts and things related aren't worth purchasing. Seems the best way is to just buy guns and repair and you can be gone on the second day.
We're going to do that in the next patch. However, the minimum requirement to see the ozone on the map is optics MK-8. Do you think it would be useful to add it for a lower optics level?
