Ok, so i have to get both of them on the bunny right? Fair enough. Someone had some nightmares after reading watership down?
One glaring problem. FIX THE SIZE!
Size is fixed! Please let me know if you have any further issues. I could never get through Watership Down. I've heard it is great but I could just never get into it. I've always wanted to see the movie version which I hear is great as well.
Nice take on tower defense/rts. One thing that did bother me about the AI. If the miners get killed right next to a tower, there is nothing you can do to stop your other miners rushing in to grab the gold he dropped. Anyone would think he dropped porn or something.
Gone are the days of sidescrolling shooters. While this is a nice attempt at resurrecting them, it is much too slow for a starter. I understand that you are trying to make the player feel overwhelmed by creatures, (which is an honourable goal) however it just makes the player feel sluggish through movement. Sure you can upgrade your speed, but it really doesn't seem worth it to wade through to get that far.
This game has some serious bugs. The upgrading of units doesnt actually seem to do anything. Why would i bother wasting gold on upgrading? And perhaps it might be a good idea to get a better translator, and fire your other one. Awful grammar.
Fun little game. And i do mean little. That is in fact the main drawback. Took me less than 20 minutes to get to the top to shake my maracas. Also had difficulty on one of the levels where the spikes would get stuck on a spinning board, forcing me to keep restarting the level due to the randomness of it all. This could be a great game with the addition of some more levels, a bit more work on physics and some hot mexican betty (just a suggestion).
You know when you play Tekken, and it is dead easy to get to the last boss (on any of them) but then you spend the next three hours throwing things at the screen because of the impossible combos that you are being beaten up with. It's THAT king of frustrating on level 11.
While this isn't a patch on Shadow of colossus, it is a nice tribute. Perhaps some better variety of creatures, and maybe include a creature tracking sequence as well, since that was one of the best parts of SoC. You may also want to fix the sound, as it just gets damn irritating after a while.
Interesting concept, though I would liked to have seen the idea explored a bit more. Nice learning curve, with some interesting uses for items, and i do think the comment regarding myst is a fair comparison. I know it is hard to get more depth with flash games, but i think that is the only thing letting this down. All in all, an enjoyable puzzle. 4/5
interesting addition to portal/physics style games, nice learning curve as well. There is one thing that does need to be worked on though. That being how unforgiving portal placement can be on some levels. I.E. Unless you have the portals sitting exactly right, the ball gets stuck in between them.
I remember years and years ago a game came out on the atari by the name of ET. The very first movie tie in game if my memory serves me right. When it was released it was touted as the best game ever, and has since been labelled as one of the worst. Here we are 30 years later, and still more mindless dross from moviemakers trying to get advertising for their movies. I understand the need for Kongregate to make a bit of money on this, and i by no means blame them for inflicting us with. I blame ET.
