I am so very impressed. The graphics are phenomenal, the physics are cool, the gameplay has so much potential. I can't wait for some real Unity games to start coming out.
The only problem with this demo is the sensitivity if a bit too high for my liking. Still 5/5.
I cannot find words to describe the excellence that is this game.
The gameplay was enjoyable, the storyline was interesting and engaging, and both endings I've discovered were equally epic.
I'm confused as to why this is the first game I've seen by this creator, to whom I say:
Zillix, make more awesome happen.
This game is essentially, "nope, that didn't work", *reset*, *change variables slightly*, repeat.
You really can't manipulate the physics or use them in a fun or enjoyable way. I don't know why this game got in the physics pack quest when there are so many actually FUN and INTERESTING physics games. Like Gravity WARS. SO much more fun. You could increase your accuracy so you aren't just firing randomly, over and over. And all the different weaponry made it interesting and diverse.
So yes, after continued play I understand Gaminic's point. Science Ninja 2 needs to have much more linear flow, rather than running back and forth. I hate breaking pace.
This is an excellent game idea, and it's implemented fairly well. I do have a few complaints, though. As someone mentioned, the game goes a bit fast which makes it hard to enjoy. The other thing is that it's kind of hard to use the controls. I wish I could just select the bots I want and click where I want them to go instead of holding and dragging.
Awesome concept. Reminded me of Dolphin Olympics, but without the annoying time constraint.
I think it gets too hard JUST before it gets REALLY fun. Smashing pirate ships is awesome, but I haven't even eaten an alien and I'm having trouble just finding enough fish without running into all those nets and dying. A larger ocean would be nice so it'd be easier to avoid all those nets and to steer better. It should also be a little easier to stay alive; there aren't enough fish for me to feast on!
I love this game with a passion equivalent to how much I hate it. It's a phenomenal game that makes me so angry.
5 stars AND I added it to my favorites.
er...one question...why? I don't understand why people make straight up mario remakes. But lets concede that this game was made simply to enable you to play a mario game in your browser. In that case, I have to say something about the physics. It may have just been my browser (doubt it), but Mario jumps sooo slow, and he doesn't respond very well when trying to change directions. The only positive thing I have to say is that the graphics are indeed nice. They have an interesting look which I quite like. That being said, I have a SNES sitting, literally, right next to my computer; I think I will just play Super Mario World.
Well....I understand the trippy side of the game, the "depth" as you posers would call it. It's an interesting game, could have been executed a bit better. The controls were weird at times, but I assume that was probably intentional. Some of the dialogue didn't make much sense. And no it wasn't that I "didn't understand it". In fact I think it could have used a bit *more* meaning. It just seems that these games are never as clever as I want them to be.
Slatts basically covered everything else I would have to say about this game.
I'm just saying, if you could make this into a game....that'd be freakin' awesome.
You should at least be able to post an embedded code of your mecha on a site.
Epic. Fun game, cool concept, original design/graphics, and awesome music. You get to control the weather, as well as the live of innocent people!
And in response to "hotdog2120": I'm pretty sure 9/11 proved the opposite, seeing as how those towers are no longer there...
