Yeah, lv 10 is my only complaint, cause i never got past it. Bugs turn wayyyyyyyy too slow. Real life turrets probably rotate faster for crying out loud. And bosses? Get 3-4 bots, and keep them on the boss. One dies? egg! Another dies? Egg! Rinse and repeat for win. 3/5 (Lose 2 for lv 10...)
@kashu: don't forget that by the 2nd garage, there is at least 1 ranged zombie (police w/ pistol)... its a good method otherwise. Sniper rifle for maximum kill potential.
Here's a good method to get good weapons ingame:
1. Do the survivor mission on day 1.
2. Buy the magnum with reward money. This should see you through well enough, as it kills the first 3 types of zombies 1-shot (the third requires damage upgrade I think).
3. Do survivor missions until day 6. This will be all 6 you can do without supplies, and gives you a total of 15,500 experience (500 for 1st, 1k for 2, 1.5k for 3, 2k for 4, 2.5k for 5, 3k for 6, and a 5k bonus after 6th).
4. Buy the rocket launcher. If you buy a perk, only buy the reload time.
5. Keep going (either supplies or kill missions) Until the day the behemoths first show (the hulking things that swing their hands, but nothing comes at you like blood slingers).
6. Kill them with the rocket launcher (anywhere from 1-3 shots) until you can buy the triple rocket, and do so. (It costs 15k experience, which is 32 behemoths w/out reload perk, 52 with it.)
7. *Insert mass murder of zombies here*
Good luck!~
Umm, where the hell did the storyline go? D: its not makin me like it. And btw, you forgot a large aspect of rpgs: battles result in gaining money, not some random loot to sell. direct to money, maybe with loot too.
hang on...maybe i am not. the poison, according to library (which i already know has at least 1 typo), takes 5% of their max mana away (though in hp for some reason) per turn. the enemies did have no mana at all, so maybe that is the problem...
I did some defense quests, and one gave me a warp crystal. But it never showed up in my material lists, both in crafting window and the one from inventory set of options. Please fix this so i can craft crap that needs the crystals.
@ SilverScorpion: You do know there is a script that brings all free cores back to their starting point, right? Or does that not make them instantly teleport? (Haven't used it, so i wouldnt know)
I think a puzzle game shouldn't have to rely on being 100% exact with each piece, a slight error makes the level fail. Therefore, it gets a 2/5 cause the game was good.
This is an ok game. It has serious potential, but this one is way too short. Please make another, that is longer, maybe a storyline too? Definitely keep current paddle/gun method, works epicly well :D
The reason ranged units keep moving forward is due to the fact that they have commands to move to certain spots (all the way to castle if you are using assault, say). They move during the "cooldown period" between shots. It also gives you a chance to take them out once they get close enough so they stop hitting you from outside your range of attack. skills keep them in place until then.
