so for overall feedback: 1. needs a tutorial 2. enemy speed needs regulated. 3. the end of the game is very abrupt. it would be nice to have some indication that it is the end, instead of wondering if it bugged out then randomly figuring out what to do. 4. the end game text is nice, but it overlaps with the "game over" box, making some of it difficult to read. 5. the harvest count and speed could stand being nerfed a little. once you max those 2, you are invincible. maybe reduce the current max lvl by 1.
the enemies sped up as the game went on, and at lvl 15 or so they were back up to the insane speed again, but now taking hits didn't matter as i grew orbs faster than they could damage me
i made it to when the enemies need 2 hits to kill, but at that speed it's impossible to click the mouse fast enough to kill it, so i was forced to restart the game again. this time, the enemies were barely moving. i beat the first level with little enemies without even bothering to kill any
what is up with the enemy speed?!? the first game i played to figure things out they moved at a reasonable speed and slowed down as they took hits. after restarting the game to fully utilize the first couple of levels each enemy after the first boss had insane speed. i had less than a second to get a shot off, and if i missed i was hit
Good start to the game. Definitely needs a tutorial, after you finally figure out what to do and beat a couple of levels, you then realize you wasted the first couple of levels.
I love how the people who reincarnate from the bear trap decide they want to leave after all.... not that I'll let them of course. I also find it highly amusing when the same person reincarnates multiple times, only to die in the cauldron each time.
Well spotted! This will be improved soon, as all the aliens you are saving will give you boosts/benefits. Also for later updates, reaching higher areas will unlock other game content. Thanks for all of your feedback!
if you want the different units to specialize, you need their upgrades (of their specialty) to either give at least +5, or drastically reduce the cost of the upgrade. also, what's the point of having attention grabbers and hp as 2 different specialists? what's the point of having all the hp if they're not the ones tanking?
The upgrades don't scale too well just yet, but the specialized ones do have higher gain MXes onn their attributes, which will currently show much better at 50+ stats.
Attention grabbers give more MP gain
well it's a good start and has potential, but many aspects of it are rather pointless. as oxford commented, upgrading health is pointless. each of the specializations are pointless. runners do a better job at each task than the "specialists" do.
Thanks for the feedback! Indeed, it's far from well balanced yet - and most units when unlocked give too little of a punch. Specializations will come more into play with future updates, right now it is a bit linear for sure
nvm. it's not just lvl 6. enemies are bugged for me period. i started a game on insane just for fun, and dodged the homers for about 30 sec, shooting them a good 30+ times, and not a single one died.
decent start to a game, but very repetative. also, some enemies on level 6 are bugged. they're invincible. i shoot a little plane that usually dies in 1-3 hits, about 14 times and it still doesn;t die.
