It keeps freezing and forcing me to reload the page but it's not as much of a problem as other games as it keeps my progress. Still annoying though. Keeping the numbers small makes it much faster paced than most card games. Also, to everybody who is complaining about being forced to pay to play more often. It's an MMO, keeping servers up (and buying new ones when the player base gets too big) costs money and so they need to have an incentive for you to donate.
I came into this expecting it to be the same game I've played 10 times before under different names but I actually enjoyed this somewhat. Positioning actually matters, there are real differences in the buildings and the ability to send all your soldiers (rather than only half) is great.
The buttons and the music desync WAY too much. Every song degenerates to 'pressing buttons while metal versions of christmas songs play in the background'.
It was alright. A bit too easy until I got to the toad brothers (which kicked my ass). The voice acting is ATTROCIOUS! Please let us turn it off, it does more harm than good, at least in my opinion.
I wouldn't mind going back through the game to see the other endings if it weren't for that damn raft section. That part kills me more than the rest of the game combined.
I don't like being preached to, especially in video games. Artistic games built around a metaphor of some sort are okay as long as there isn't a 'correct' answer. Loved is a pretty good example of one of these sorts of games as both 'paths' are the 'right' path in their own ways and you can partly down one and the other the way you feel works for you. This just says "using people is bad" when at least half of your 'friends' are just going to end up using you.
