One other pet peeve, the text that pops up at the top of the screen obscures some of the enemy that may be standing there, like with a mortar. Very irritating. I'd like to be able to disable that, or have it displayed some other way.
I love the game, I love the concept, and the execution is pretty good. But some of the colors (dark blues and black) are impossible to see. Also, in Firefox, when I try to start another game after completing one, the game does no work. I have to refresh the page to play the game again. Other than that, it's beautiful.
Keyboard shortcuts would be really helpful in this game.
And what's with the bombs? I'm cruising along, then an enemy plane drops about 8 bombs, one in each of my bunkers/trenches. Made me say dirty words.
I just discovered (and someone else must have pointed this out by now) you can create a level 7 gem, then combine it with level 1 gems. Each time you combine a level 7 gem with any gem, it counts as a new level 7 gem. Do this 7 times in a round, and snag an extra 80,000 points
What's the deal with knowing which side of the line will fill? It looks like the smaller "compartment" is picked by default, which means that 85-88% is the max you can fill in.
And what's with the sperm looking things? Irritating.
