remove powerups from the game, please. they make it far too pay to win. its not about who has the most skill, its about who has the deepest pockets and the most powerups.
remove powerups from the freakin game. early on it doesnt matter much, but in later levels, a handful of powerup spammers can totally own the game. it really becomes pay to win
my only complaint is that the carriers in this game seem a bit underpowered. this is mainly because of the fact that bombers will occasionally return to the carrier without firing their torpedo if their target is destroyed by another ship. also, the fact that fighters have a warm up to launch rather than a cooldown is rather annoying, id prefer they launched instantly, followed by a short cooldown period before more fighters could be launched.
i do like this game and im glad you fixed many of its bugs. it has an excellent storyline and interesting combat mechanics. id love to see a haven 2 if that's possible
what kind of strategy space game doesnt let me blow shit up? its like war commander but you never see so much as a single explosion through all the gameplay.
kinda fun, but need respawning destroyers instead of indestructible ones, also add a bit of variance to the weapons and abilities of different factions. the ship models and basic game mechanics are nice though.
fun game! i love the very fast paced strategy, i honestly prefer slower paced games most of the time, but this one is interesting and unique. the variety of ships, enemies and levels keep things fresh. i found that each enemy has their own weaknesses (infection pods are weak to auto guns and interceptors, carriers to freeze turrets and ships, and battleships to carriers and fighter spams). yes, it is possible to beat the game (i did), just not easy.
my only complaint is that the annihilator just seemed... wrong. it was a broken kind of over powered, which, while not necessarily a bad thing on it's own (a single super carrier has beaten levels on it's own after my entire base is destroyed but i still love it), but the annihilator kinda ridiculous. i'd LOVE to see ship customization in between levels. not usually a feature in such fast paced spam games, but would be fun.
basicly a twist on strike force heroes ( though if i'm not mistaken, the original may have actually come out before strike force heroes.) great game. a 3rd version would be greatly appreciated if it was multiplayer.
one of the safest and best tactics for beginners is to use ion frigates on multiple lanes to keep from being overrun. when moveing to attack, focus 2 or more with scout support to push the offensive. other more advanced blitz style tactics can win me battles in under 1 minute 30 seconds, but these are risky and leave you vulnerable if they fail. cruiser + bomber+ teleport special ability= blitz raid to punch through enemy waves, destroy turrets with ease and damage enemy base ship. drawbacks include: need to save a lot of energy to work, need charged teleport, leaves you vulnerable to attack, but causes tremendous damage to enemy ship. cruiser blitzes can be stopped dead with horde of bombers, but usually not before taking huge damage
