It's just too easy. There is no fun factor. No adrenaline rush. Like others are suggesting, perhaps a timer, and being detected gets you shot back at might bring a little bit of excitement out of it, I don't know.
Well, all you do is spin a wheel and you don't see the castles or "men". It could be kind of fun, if you made it where you could upgrade personal skills, like "cheating the wheel" where you can put a marker on one, two, or three things on the wheel and hope for it to land on one of them. Seeing a cut scene of whats going on like a castle being hit with the spell, or attacked by things then it would be perhaps more entertaining. I'm not going to rate yet because it wouldn't be deserving of a star as it sits.
minimize the browser when the turtles really get flying, it will be like extreme super speed in the background since your pc doesn't have to work rendering all the graphics etc. It flies on low quality, but I minimize it and go from a couple thousand a minute to double or triple the amount.
I haven't played this in a while, so decided to play it just because. Well, the first time I played it, I don't recall using my "shadows" to go through the doors. If I send my "shadow" through the door, it lags the game out for some reason. Takes 30 seconds or better to go to the next room. However, if I use "myself" to go through, it's almost instantly. Anyone else having this problem?
Someone else said below, build a maze. This is exactly what you do. It reminds me of DTD. It has the same principle, stop the waves from reaching the other end of the screen. To do this, you build a long maze. After the first few waves this becomes extremely boring to me. I can't rate 0, and it's not worth 1 so I can't vote. There is no end game. There is no replay value. There is no "goal". Sorry, I just can't think of anything I particularly liked about it.
I have a huge monitor, like 42" flatscreen, and I've change my resolution a few times. What is the best resolution for this? I can't seem to get the whole game to fit in the window.
I thought it was alright. I mean yeah, like war, this game can't be won and I think that was the point. No matter what side "wins", all parties invloved will lose lives, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, grand parents, grand children, etc. In war, everyone loses. Finally a game that was making a point actually made one.
As solistus says, max all bomb upgrades, send all waves at once, and use small bombs until everything is dead. No reason to even put up a tower, unless you want to have a super tower up at the end so you can stop clicking when the end wave of sprawled out 1 at time enemies come. The only way I can get expert score is by using this method. Pretty pathetic in my opinion that a "TOWER" defense game becomes a "CLICK SPAM BOMB" defense game. Can you turn it back into a "TOWER" defense game? I don't like clicking the screen to drop bombs continuosly. Thanks.
It is impossible to get no damage taken on EVERY level. I agree with everyone else who says there should be upgrades. Better weapons, engine/rudder upgrades for more speed and faster maneuvers, the ability to buy custom maneuvers, like zig zag, S turns, and at a certain rank you should be able to use maneuvers every turn. I mean that is what makes fighter pilots so dangerous, being able to out maneuver their opponents and a good pilot can pull off one maneuver after another. Also, this would be awesome in multiplayer.
I have the hardest time hitting the box on 26. This thing don't shoot when I want it too, and sometimes it don't shoot at all. Prior to 26, it was kind of entertaining, but now it's just aggravating.
@alectan, probably the reason it don't load in the first place, to try to get people to reload it over and over until it works so it appears more people have played than what really have.
