Hidden coin is beneath the pumpkin (lower right corner) in the stage selection screen. Just click on the pumpkin and you'll get it :D
This game has decent graphics and solid gameplay, but imo the balance is pretty off. Bosses are almost impossible to kill in first play through on easy mode (such as the boss on stage 7). Besides, I don't see any difference between easy and hard (for example the peasant in stage one takes two shots from the fire tower in both easy and hard mode). Game is overall decent but need some tweaking.

Hurricane coming, strength: low. I chose barricade in doors, lose 85 population......Game is fun but one or two random disaster can ruin you the whole game......
knights+crossbows owns every mid-late game level, and have a balanced cost of food, wood and iron. Just max all three income at start and start pumping knights+crossbows 1:1. No need to high tech to war elephants or golems.
