I think I've encountered a bug. I can't get my third inspector to the shelter because I opened it before bringing him there... Now I can't actually deliver him to it. Am I missing something or is this an actual bug.

So why are the mutations listed in their proper A to Z clockwise assortment... THE WAY IT LOOKS RIGHT NOW MAKES MY OCD GO WILD!!! Seriously. Consider sorting all the clovers from no mutation to max mutation. And everything between in a nice assortment.

I would like this game to have actual accurate stats. Burst weapons show 1 projectile when in reality it's something more like... 6. And I would ALSO like to have it shown if it's a shotgun or instant or projectile or missile. I need MORE INFORMATION! Being able to upgrade individual weapons instead of having to rely on pure luck to get the weapons you want.

From what I've seen so far, the algorithm seems confused. It's not trying to go furthest to the right, but just the furthest in general. If the creatures start off jumping high, they will try to jump higher, if they move left, they'll only try to move more left. Surely this is not the plan? Is it not that the goal is to move the fastest to the right?

Nodes are bugged. They constantly dislocate themselves from the connections. Another thing: Being able to replace nodes (Replacing a normal node with a claw node, for example) without having to remove the node first. It removes all the connections and makes me have to redo it all. Inconvenient.

Replacing nodes is definitely something I should add... Dislocating nodes are probably not something that would be a simple fix, it's caused(I think) from the constraint solver running out of iterations, and if I increase the # of iterations it will lead to worse performance -- I'll see what I can do though.

Another thing I miss from the original walkinator was the original system you used to generate evolution. The ticker thing. can't remember what it's called. But I'm sure you know what I'm... WALKING about. Eeh? EEEH? Anywho, I'd like one of those tickers so I don't have to sit though 20 seconds of one creature and then watch the next. As my computer is crap, I can't look at more then like. 10 tiny creatures at 5 FPS, or 1 big at 15. One of those fast generation things that you can choose to use would be great.

Thanks for the feedback -- I'll see what I can do. As a workaround for now: You can enable turbo mode and tab to the help screen & the game will generate as fast as possible for now.

I don't know if you ever thought about it, or you don't want it. But there should totally be a sort of... ''Evolution'' Mode where the algorithm randomly generates nodes and connections, and then run a test with them, the top 3 that live will continue on and modify their children. Whilst other mutations will happen. Do this, and I will forever love you.

Thank you for fixing the memory leak. I could only play for 10 minutes before the game ran at 0.5 FPS. Now all we need to fix is half of the game. XD no seriously though. Connection previews glitch all the time, tendons are just nuts, they don't go anywhere where their previews tell them they should be. And generally I guess I'd want more information on what does what? What does tendons exactly DO? I can only connect them between bones.

A few things: -Tendons are muscles that connect bones instead of nodes -- all the connection & node types are explained in the help section. -I updated connection preview behavior a bit, it should be more consistent now -- let me know if you still experience previews not lining up. Note that by default there's grid snapping of 0.5 units, you can change the units or turn off the snapping by clicking "Grid Settings..." in edit mode. Thanks for the feedback :).

Continuing my first impressions of this game: Editor needs a LOT of work. Like... a LOT LOT. Glitching previews. The entire editor stops working after a while. after going into evo mode and then going back to editor the grid will be not centered. There's massive potential here. But it needs a LOT of work in it's current stage.

Hmm... The editor can lag if you're running evolution at the same time(they run simultaneously if you leave the evolution running and click editor). I'll fix the grid not being centered bug in the next update... Thanks for the report! EDIT: Okay the grid bug was just fixed in v1.51.
