Your art and sound are TOP NOTCH but the manual needs a bit of work. Add a workshop with bits and bobs to play around with and this would be jjust freaking awesome.
This isn't a game - at the moment this is the amazing 'Wayne Bobbit BitSim' - after it gets thrown into a field. Yes, yes you should make an actual game. Kong really needs a demo section for things like this. NOT A GAME 1/5
What a waste of time - this is a DEMO, not a game! You can only choose one profession, you have no control over the 'action' - there's not even a background, just a white screen stretching on forever...or is it never? I have no idea how it got an overall ranking of 4 - please rate this 1 star!!
Okay - so I was just bemoaning the lack of cool, fun, educational games - and here it is!! Why more games don't take the approach that, hey, fun is fun, but learning stuff about stuff is fun, too, is beyond me. Really enjoying the amount of knowledge I'm actually building here, although I still want to try removing glass from someone's heart with a Wiimote ;"P I'm really looking forward to Medical School 2 and...that's it! 4 stars (I'm saving '5' for MS2)
This game comes so, so close to nailing something amazing...and falls just short through no major fault, more some minor comforts that are missing. Some sound so I can *hear* when I'm being attacked would be nice, as would a transparent rollover or effect on the castle-walls and archers so I can *see* where I'm being attacked. Tying the mouse up instead of using the arrow keys to change the viewpoint is the thing that most hurts the game, though, as it makes it that much harder to *respond* to attacks. Aside from that, it's still a fun and frantic few minutes of rock farming, wall building and archer deployment, ALL while responding to hordes of horrible daemonic beasties, but with some minor tweaks this game would really shine. Bring on the sequel! 3/5
This isn't really my kind of game, but it did make me laugh, it was well put together, and it made me feel like a super sexy robot ninja. That has to be good, right? I'm'a gonna give it 3 ***, but if you put it in a Game&Watch I'll give it 5 ^_^
All this game is really missing is a compelling storyline, more interesting music, and perhaps some nifty character art for NPCs so I feel like I'm doing quests for people, not text boxes ;P Aside from that, this is a REALLY GREAT RPG, people, a fantastically smooth playing Gauntlet-tribute with heaps of rpg depth to had in the levelling/stat building/abilities department. Oh, and did I mention the Quests? And Factions who's attitude toward you changes based on said quests? No?!? All of this wrapped up with the smoothest screen transitions, largest game world, and slickest action-combat based gameplay I've seen in a FREE rpg of this type. 2/5?!? I think not!! FIVE OUT OF FIVE for this one - simply one of the best free rpgs I've played. *****
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! This could've been just a standard cannon battler, but the moving islands, weapon upgrades, and all that stuff - yup, brilliant.
Scratch that - just noticed the excellent info in the forums over at www.fantasy-mmorpg.com - that makes this one of the most promising Multiplayer games I've seen. Can't wait to get hooked ;)
