Game would be great if not for the arbitrary "every tile needs at least one dot" rule. That means that you can just start by giving every tile 1 dot, it's totally arbitrary and just adds tedium.
Would've liked a way to hover over enemies with the mouse to see their stats, but I get that as is the game is keyboard only and pains were taken to introduce enemies and their stats ahead of time. Awesome puzzle game!
After playing through the chore that was berserk the other day, man is this game a breath of fresh air. You're active and engaged the whole run due to the slamming mechanic, the upgrades come quick enough to feel like valid rewards and significantly change the gameplay. A pleasant blast to the past
Just a grind. The upgrades both make little difference and take too long to get. The actual gameplay is mostly just waiting, you have pretty much no incentive to do anything but just hold right the whole time.
The hard badge on this game shouldn't exist. All RNG, endless resets, and it encourages you to play the game in a way that goes directly against how it's meant to be played
undo options, and having numbers connected to colors instead of just tab/shift would've been nice additions, but this is still a great puzzle game. One of the good really difficult ones
Wow this game was startlingly bad. It's just a spamfest the whole time, and the enemies just get more and more annoying. Why does gold drop on the ground, so I have to walk backwards for 5 seconds to pick it up when I'm attacked from an enemy behind me?
I'll always love this game, but man I wish it were just a little more complete and didn't have as many game breaking bugs. Still, even in the state we have it in, it's a lot of fun.
Love this game. It's like the vertigo llama except the execution lived up to the idea. Great, small challenges one at a time. The movement is tight, and provides a lot of room for getting better at the game. Any coin can be done by itself, no need to be perfect for a whole level, just get one coin at a time (still mad about vertigo's stupid "beat 10 levels in a row without dying, 6 times" garbage). And the secret levels still make me laugh, absolutely hilarious. This game will always be a classic
Dear god running out of money while you're on a later level (I specifically don't have the boat yet, but have beaten every level available and now need to farm 1500 gold) is UNBEARABLE. The enemies give you 2-3 gold each, and the levels cost money to go into! Half the time playing the game puts you even further behind. The only thing to do is go in and out of the ONE free level, and hope andy is drunk enough that you can guarantee yourself to beat him and earn 40 more gold
Everytime you die (and sometimes just for no reason) you will randomly lose and need to buy again several pieces of equipment. Sometimes they're not even unlocked anymore. The scaling is ridiculous, and enemies can just take you out in one hit if you don't grind forever
