What's the point in making a great game and then only making it a couple hours long? That's not a RPG to me lol. Only complaint I have otherwise is the dreadful story and dialogue - Cliche and boring.
The song that plays during the Main Menu Screen is a masterpiece! Reminds me so much of many a RPG's I played back as a kid during the PS1 era! Great music helps a game so much, and you sir have one fantastic song! Kudos to you! =D
I disagree with what some others are saying. The characters wouldn't be so brilliant and complex had the Cafe Conversations not been there. You need room for character development somewhere, and those provided the perfect opportunity. I enjoyed each and every one of them. Hectic and stressful situations in a story need some sort of comic relief, which again, these provided as well. The developer went about this perfectly and I hope there are no plans of changing it. 5/5 game. What a blast I had playing, only thing I would add is an option to slightly accelerate game speed up during a mission. The feature could be added (per level) after completion of a level, or perhaps only for New Game +'s, as it would greatly help with grinding moola and exp.
Yeah I was kinda pissed about the Dragon too. Takes alot of planning and gold just to get him. By the time you do, the level is over and he is useless, as most enemies are killed before they even get to him. The idea was cool, but it was the worst of all the 'unique' things in each of the stages.
I would like to propose a sequel be made! This game is just far to great for one not to be made. Some new levels would be great in the meantime while we wait for a sequel. C'mon guys what do you say?! + This comment up and lets convince Mr. Developer to make a sequel and some new stages to to this fantastic and addicting game! =D
I was kind of disappointed with the Pets you get access to after Rebirth, cause, for one they don't help attack, and two it takes up a buff slot. It shouldn't be considered a "buff", I can deal with the pet not attacking but being limited to only 5 buffs, and then making the pets considered a buff just kind of ruins it, it doesn't really feel like something "new" or "special" which is what the pets are supposed to be, becuase I allready was able to have 5 buffs my first time thru. Please make the pets not a buff or at least give us a max of 6 buffs for RB players.
Wow....totally sick of hearing people complain about wanting gems for FREE...it's so pathetic that nobody is willing to pay money to the people who made this fantastic game. Gems should NOT be handed out in special quests, and it should stay just the way it is. This is the first tolerable cash shop in a Online MMO that I have come across. If you don't want to pay go find another game, it's pretty easy to understand, or just enjoy the game without the few perks that playing players have.
I don't know why but I love the song that plays when your on the World Map. It's a really good song and for some reason reminds me of The Legend of Dragoon...
There are ways to kill Skeleton things (I think they are actually Zombies though), and I don't think they are bugged, I think they are intentionally made as difficult enemies -BUT- that being said, I think they should give at least some amount of money for killing them, even if it's a very small amount. I have beaten the game 5 stars on every stage on hard mode, probably 5 pr 6 times now between here and on Armor Games, so trust me when I say the Skeletons can be defeated. Melee units and Mages (Chain lightning is best for Skeles/Zombies) work well against them, while Archers are nearly useless against them. The key is placement of your units. Also lots of times, a simple solution such as moving one of your "Towers" in the heat of battle can actually make a huge difference.
Please don't make less waves. That only shortens the game in the long run. I am sick of TD games I can beat in a day or two. If anything please add more waves. This game is amazing and I have finished it twice already.
Fantastic game, definitely Kingdom Rush and Demon Rift TD inspired...though somehow original at the same time. My only Problem with this game is that the last stage on Hard Difficulty is completely impossible. I can only ever beat it with 1 star left, and I only just barely do it. I have tried over and over with countless different set-ups, nothing really seems to work all the well. I am hoping I can get a string of good power-ups/magic spells but they also seem to be alot less frequent on this stage. Any tips anyone?
I agree with zUkUu.....it's pointless having the spells given out randomly.
Death Plateau is nearly impossible on hard, I have done everything I can think of and I still get killed on the boss. I am just playing the stage over and over again in the hopes that I get enough Spells to beat the stage, though I end up using any I get before the actual boss arrives.
@daveh873 I was wondering about this as well. Sort of. See I noticed in the bottom left corner of the screen where it shows the little News blurbs, it says there is a new Track called 'Slalom' but the Track isn't anywhere to be found on my game. I thought that maybe it was only available to members playing on Ninjakiwi's site or something like that, but now that you mention this, I kind of have no clue what could be wrong =/ I play on a Laptop. Would this have anything to do with it, what is your main PC and what is your secondary one? And to be honest it seems weird that it would be a PC issue....
I can't seem to get past lvl 85 I think it is. Massive amounts of MOAB class bloons come thru and just utterly destroy me. I have good defenses set up and can hold them off just till the end, but they end up getting thru. I can usually keep my full 200 lives until this point, but they all get used up on the one stage still =/ What am I dong wrong?
Did any of you people with the Save Game Issues, ever stop to take a second to think "Hmmmm, seeing as how its only a handful of people out of the hundreds of thousands that play Kingdom Rush that have this issue, that the problem might just be on the user's end and not the Developers?"
As for itsinthegame...'it's clear' your getting down-voted because of your holier-than-thou attitude. I quote un-quote "It's clear the developer missed something"...really? Do you develop games and know the workings of them and how they operate? Chances are you don't. So until you've figured out the source of the problem, don't go around pointing fingers and blaming and not expect to get a down-vote in the process.
Great Game. I loved the concept and fresh new take on the TD Genre. It would have been nice tho if the enemies proved more of a challenge. There's no point in getting all these cool defence upgrades, and building up your town if the enemies never even get past your first 3 towers. Also, the game needs to be MUCH longer, and have some sort of stages/levels implemented. Perhaps every 50 waves (days) the Enemy Path changes, and either you need to place all new towers, or you are given the opportunity to rearrange your current towers, at this point the enemies would become increasingly hard or something. This game just has so much opportunity to be something absolutely amazing.
