I really think once a card is defeated, all the cards to the right of that card should slide over to fill its spot. It just makes sense to me.

took me 119 days to cure zombification

beat it on harder. took me like 3 tries. scout, recruit, make soldiers, attack like a mofo. expand toward a corner reasonably while keeping a check on controlling your borders. researching anitvenom is a must. things got out of control when my people started rioting with 5% happiness, so i was forced to take some pubs and churches. great game.
