Congratulations! You've taken the concept of a stupid skill-less and boring game, polished it up and gotten badges added. Now people hunting badges have to bang their head into this heap of crap for 2 hours on bonus 3. I'd have expected you to at LEAST place the starting shapes where there is a quick play for the first slice, but no. That would take finesse, something this game sorely lacks.
Frankly, this is why Kongregate exists. We find these amazing games by up and coming developers, we follow the link's to their main sites and we purchase their games for a few bucks. WELL DONE! Within the first 5 levels I could tell this was a gem. Keep up the good work.
After 1 successful hit you should be able to evaluate how many hits the monster will take X how fast the player is swinging to get an enemy's uptime and prioritize poison. I'm fighting monsters that have over 150k HP and the game still doesn't think Poison VI will do more damage than swinging for 700. Poison would be up for like 2 minutes and deal enormous damage.
All in all it seems the game NEVER casts spells, unless you make an intentional spellcaster, and then you dont even have enough mana to kill the monster. Really really foolish imo.
I love the game, but why don't you have to beat it on Normal to get the third star, and why are you able to play the Heroic and Iron challenges on 'easy' difficulty?
The shield items reduce dmg by 5-20%, the armor's add 5-20% health, and shield ends up 'better' but equally pointless for weak units. Please replace the armors to add static HP, worthless for large units but ideal for allowing small units like goblins and vampires, to have a significant HP boost (like maybe +200 at platinum?)
Everyone seems aware that knights are pointless: Archers and golems are all you need, and golems only need 1 upgrade of multi unit combat, and you can gold every stage. I suggest you greatly improve the knight's range, so that their role becomes more of a "get to the fight and fight" unit that can cover several lanes.
I love strategy games, and I appreciate the multi-directional "tech" through upgrades or buildings, but you should not put the additional units in the tech tree. It greatly affects the strategy, and rewards you for 'skipping' entire unit classes, when they should be tactically introduced at certain levels.
Is it possible to challenge the king / win in the first season? I had a lvl 5 unique archer and lvl 4 unique swordsman + EVERY city by fight 9, I had slaughtered everything until then, and I got routed without even killing a unit. Are the invulnerable? Should I even keep trying?
Does there have to be THAT MANY DAMN SHARKS!? Every 3 seconds, another thing to avoid, you cant even ENJOY eating people! Armies of piranhas have to 'run away' constantly. I thought the game was supposed to be FUN! LET US ENJOY EATING PEOPLE!
My pirannah continuously slams into the floor of the lake, then flies skyward, wasting about 20 seconds. Also seems to only happen when im trying to chase a person thats getting away.... LOADS of fun...
This game is stupid. I love the concept, but seriously, dont screw up the levels (which you did) and let us restart the level without the 3 second 'sliiiiiiiiiiide over to your catapult again... (which you didnt).
If you had unlimited oxygen, this game would actually be fun. I get so excited when I make these long perfect slingshot arcs, and then I died after skipping 2 planets. Even the "extra oxygen ship" still has no oxygen.
What a POS 'tactics' game. I walk up, they walk up and Knife me, killing my guy. I go behind him and Knife him, and miss. TACTICS! And how dare you tag this with 'defense'.
Yes. It is possible :)
