@Gadgetphile: try browsing in private mode and check if the problem occurs. If it doesn't, reset browser data and it should work. I haven't met this problem so far.
@Karateka: since the first version we changed the sequence of levels so the walkthrough video can be confusing. BUT: on the notDoppler walkthrough page there should be links to the specific levels. You click the link and the video jumps to the right position. Sorry for the inconvenience!
bayne420: landing on a monster throws you into the air, so if you fall freely into a monster, you can be propelled up and then jump in the air. That's a monster jump. Landing on a monster does not restore any jumping power.
bayne420: Just try it for yourself :). Monsterjumping prevention takes place only if you touch the monster for the second time in short time - he then pauses for a shorter then usual time and then starts going up with his mouth open. Its just a moment, but when the speed is really high, this moment of going up with mouth open is enough to forget about monsterjumping :).
One last update: i've adresed many things you mentioned.
1)"monster jumping" is no longer a valid strategy for the endgame, I hope so
2)on the later levels blocks are faster but not as dense as they were.
3)powerups don't wear off when you get hit
4)blocks decolorise a bit faster
I hope it makes the game better :).
Sorry to all "monster jumping" virtuosos - your scores are still amazing.
New version! Now when you are hit by a block, your bonus speed (from standing on the top) does not nullify, you only loose one point of bonus speed. It should make the early floors more fun, giving more oportunity for high speed frenzy :). If you fall right in to the monster from your high speed, he will sneeze out of excitement giving you chance to recover. Have fun!
Atkonis: I've made it a little easier. There is some time after touching the monster, when another touch will not stop him from going up. He will go a bit slower though. It should be enough for now, i will make a better solution later when it's needed.
@Atkonis: new version is informally dedicated to You :). I've changed the time of holding in place in relation to time of opening of mouth. It was equal, now monster starts moving again shortly after he opens the mouth. Tell me what you think. I hope it doesn't brutalize the early gameplay too much.
@Atkonis: respect, man. Nicely noticed :). I'm impressed. I have some idea how to fix it - touching the monster should zero the jumping ability -, but if you have any better sugestions, please send me a message, or post it here.
@MacOS-problems: in the new version I changed one thing that could have caused it. You should be able to go beyond the preloader screen now, hopefuly :).
