@Bozotic I haven't noticed any physics change, but I suck at noticing things, so you may be right. Coins are to my knowledge only used for one purpose. If you get 100 you can click the dice icon (right side of menu) to get a new vehicle
Tooltips are great! Maybe shorten the time before it pops up a little bit, but thats all for that. Difficulty definetly didn't make me feel like a god now :D. Classes are pretty well rounded, as well as powerups. Overall a 4/5. This is absolutely a great base game to build upon! Add upgrades (the majority of the browser audience LOVES upgrades, as long as it's not too grindy), as well as adding some sort of story/goal and this is most likely going to get many plays! (An upgradelike that would be better off published as a whole new game, if you were to try doing it.)
A quick question regarding the following: "Currently if the card touch the platform (the "highlighted area") even if it's a pixel will place the card. I had sometimes the same issue as you described and it's something that we're working to improve but we don't have a final solution yet." Why don't you do the exact opposite of what you're currently doing? If the card currently selected is unselected (LMB released) && the card is over the HAND, if even by a pixel, then the card is not played. It's better to have to play a card twice every now and then than potentially losing a match to a misplaced monster.
Neat little game! Fun-factor is high on this one. Volume sliders are much appreciated as someone who listens to other music while playing. Sound effects are awesome, music... eh... I really don't know, didn't listen to it. One thing that should be added is tooltips for the different weapons etc. so you can know what they do without having to go through every single one. Also, difficulty is a little low. Maybe a little less healing? I've found myself in many situations where I'm almost dead, but then, out of the blue I heal up to full health.
Overall I'd give this 3/5. By fixing those two small issues it's easily a 4/5.
Hope you get that A! (or whatever is your top grade)
Tip for the underdog challenge (level 10): You will probably NOT be able to do this in a "normal" way, so you need to exploit a little... weird thing... Basically, keep trying to knock the ball on TOP of the opponents goal (It is small, so basically get it to the other side). Climb onto the opponents goal by jumping onto the opponent. now just camp on the goal with the ball until the match is over. + this so everyone can see
Tip for CTF: The I are morons, but do this: camp at your own flag. You should be able to take out most enemies, and if you die you should respawn in a position that lets you continue fighting them. This way CTF round will be long, but you will have pretty much 100% win rate. each flag takes your teammates about 3-4 min to get over.
Expecting a lot of +'s opn this comment... But seriously. the concept is too good, but with the random "passed shield" aspect it's just too luck-based. Seriously, I'm losing battles with 90% block rate on my armor due to me not blocking anything with perfect direction and not using the sword. Otherwise a decent game. Music is nothing extraordinary, graphics is pretty average for a flash game of the time, controls are rather unresponsive. An overall 3/5 from me
@d_e_s_t_r_o_y obviously you didn't try this, even though it is updated NOW doesn't mean it's going to ever be updated again... KIXEYE was the developer behind backyard monsters. The game got a fatal bug, and instead of even TRYING to fix it, they took the game down completely instead... I tried this for a little bit, but it really didn't catch me on anyways. 1/5
Lots of people are having that bug. I thought of a way to fix it last night, and I will send a small update sometime this evening (before 5pm Mountain Time)
Alright, i added tooltips and adjusted the dificulty by a bit.
