In Sim Tower they had a cool elevator type where you could elect not to have it stop at certain floors; that would be cool here for the elevator needs.

Regardless, I've found that building your web in a geometric kind of circle works well -- a donut if you will, with the middle open, and you keep slowly moving in on it
If you guys want a hint, you can go above the bosses as long as you do it when they're still blinking, and if you have the right gun you can just kill them without potentially taking any damage
