in response to damage scaling i think what might be effective is having normal minions do 1/10th the damage but firing 10x more, or something along those lines, and having bosses fire half as much as normal minions while doing 1/2per level * #of minions, this along with the addition of some sort of regen/buyable HP upgrade/armor, would probably balance out the damage scaling when fighting bosses only, another addition that would be nice is some sort of upgrade or feature to preset up to what level you want bosses to appear so you can switch strategies mid run automatically
@jeclone its because of the way the base works and how the exponents jump, instea of a linear base 10 progression, your oridnals jump around depending on your base, the number in the (), when you finally jump to the 1e10 point, thats what the base jumps from, your OP are directly corelated to what ordinal number you have in base 10, and all the other numbers between your base are ignored, so when you hit that first exponent its a big jump, as such, the OP are gained in leaps and then slow plateaus.
SO, its a few hours from 4 to 3, and im guessing just as long or longer from 3 to whatever is next, if im not mistaken the final step before w^w^w is
Hω^((ω^2)2+(ω2+2))2, it is one hell of a grind, and im a little afraid of whats next
scratch that, it wasnt obvious that the tooltip indicated 500 faith, and i didnt realize from the tutorial that it takes 50 followers for each next building
Yeah, just now to new player its the most oscure mechanic. Really when u get the idea that next tier waste 50 of previous tier, is simple, but first time can be strange. Ill try to be more friendly to newbies. Thx by your time.
tool tip for building the next "building" seems to say a factor of 10 higher than it actually is, i got to 100 followers before i clicked it out of curiosity and it took 50 followers instead of the stated 500
well i have to say i didnt expect to reach stage 2 before the developer implemented it. i guess now its time to wait. also for the dev, idk how much work it would be, but as others have said, its kind of a pain to have to scroll to see all of your resources, a lot of people might not know that you can click a resource on the hotbar to go right to it. but once tier 2 is implemented, it might be better if all of each tier can be seen on a single screen.
so far i like it, research is a little slow for the amount of gain after level 2, there seems to be a memory leak on chrome which forces me to reset every so often, which wouldn't be so bad, but it seems that the bonus HP from leveling up doesnt seem to stay after the refresh, the first thing isnt such a problem since you can speed up with gems, but the second two things are basically critical to make sure gameplay is consistent. other than that, a way to heal after each wave would be nice, having to wait till i either die of level up is kind of a pain. keep up development and this could be a fairly solid game, good luck.
Thanks for the response! The HP thing is just a visual bug, the numbers are the same. (I could add the HP/MAXHP numbers on the HP bar, what do you think?)
The game has an opportunity to buy gems with kreds to speed things along, but right now it's disabled.
There will be a healing unit in the future.
ok so I've got all the upgrades, and I've been jumping between the two platforms, i got nothing, anyways, decent quick game, just wish the toaster thing wasn't so obscure
Idk if you have it in the works or not, but some sort of Money per time counter for individual items, so i know whats making me the most money at a glance would be nice
@Sir_Poopington There is not problem with the programming of the game, it cant be fixed on his side, the problem is your setting, but believe what you want to believe
Shouldn't regeneration cap out at the point where you regen as much per tick as your max HP? I mean, if it regens 1 time per second then 100% would be the cap if it regens 10 times per second then 1000%, but having at inf just makes my gable funnel extra points into it that aren't needed.
I noticed that even if you don't have tier 1 the utility gambles still level up those skills, unless those skills are still working even if you cant buy them, i don't feel like that should happen..
man you a roaring with these updates, Great game so far and lots of potential, Just dont burn yourself out cause i dont wanna see the updates stop haha
