twice now I have bought the 500 gold bag, and have had it not work then dissapaear upon refresh. I love the game overall... but... WTF? 500 gold in the toilet is a bit annoying.
Rofl. When you hit the point you can go forever until you just decide to stop it is just silly. Distance: 192426338m Height: 205159958m. That Karate Man would be the answer to getting a person to Mars.
Waiting for turns took this from an easy 5/5 to a 2/5. Really cool stuff, but screw it if it doesn't want me to play for more than a short amount of time.
I also got the best sword early on. It made the game too easy, but it was still fun. Good text RPG. I would like to see more choices on weapons, or maybe upgrades. Something that gives the player a choice of X or Y that could both be good, rather than just 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... that all just are better than the last with no choices for the player to make.
Thanks for the game.
gave it 4/5, but would have given 4.5 if it was an option. A little balancing of the units, slight tone down to samurai, put ALL the good bonuses in the middle areas that are harder to defend, etc, and add keyboard map scroll/zoom, and it is easily 5/5. I don't care for the cutesy theme, but can easily overlook it because of the style of the game.
Oh yeah, some sort of multiplayer on this game engine would also be really fun.
The Islands are easy if you just build a bunch of green giant builders once you get to the steamrolling the country stage. Then, wait to kill the last province untill all your green giants spawn. Then, move them towards the three areas that link to the islands, and take the last province. With all those giants the Islands were surprisingly easy. 16 or so giants and the rest filled with samurai easily took the final island.
The game is really hard, at first, if you start in a center province, but really easy if you start on a corner spot on either end of the map.
