small "bug" (spoilers) when examining the arrow while standing behind the throne, amber tries to move down to start a cutscene, but because the throne is in the way, she can't get there, effectively freezing the game.
At some point I thought maybe the enemies are just trying to get by and killing them will leave their childeren parentless. But then they started shooting. I really like the way challenge builds up in this game. (plus a nice little cliffhanger at the end) Good job on that :)
On level 13 there is quite a high chance one or two orange cubes will pop to the sides and not be transformed in a different color, making it impossible to solve the puzzle.
I've been struggling with the last levels of the alien campaign too, but at the end I
completed them. These are my strategies: You need the right equipment. Mine:
Adrenaline, Pickup, Extra clips, katana. You need to practice a bit with the katana
in order to use it properly, but then you can use it to kill enemies who are close to
you, or to reflect missiles/shots. You don't need to buy any weapons.
Level 14: Constantly hop on the jump pads and look for enemies. They often go
under the ledges at the right and left of the map. You can easily kill them by
standing on a ledge, and shooting at them with Frozen Death when they come
out. When they're out of range, use the sniper. When low on health, use the
pickups. I won 30-22 this way.
Level 15:Constantly stalk the raze soldier. If you don't kill him early on, he will be
impossible to take out on later levels. Even if you're unarmed, get close to him
and use the katana. I won this one with 1 min. left.
Sooooo, it's basically Bubble Tanks but with more dodging, less upgrades and cheesy conversation? I expected a bit more than the same engine with new graphics.
Trial 17: 'We know you love these jungle gymansiums, #029. Are you having fun? You are doing great, your sisters are cheering for you.'
#029: 'SHUT THE *** UP, WHERE'S THE CANDY IN THIS LEVEL!?!'
If money+house makes bank and alcohol+house makes tavern, why doesn't a book+a house make a library? This game doesn't offer gameplay, it's mindless sliding one element over another, until you get a new element. It's fun to discover new elements, but it's impossible to get an element by logical thinking, but this game apparently doesn't aim for logical thinking, else it couldn't have split the elements in two chapters. (Or even have the same combination make two different things in two chapters) And why is this called Doodle God 2? It's merely an expansion with more elements. The new hint option is a nice try, but doesn't work half of the time. I can't call this a game: It doesn't involve interaction, it's just waiting for a hint, trying all combinations, waiting for a hint, trying all combinations, trying combinations between two groups that seem logical, get frustrated, waiting for a hint...etc. (And come on, apple+cellphone is gold/religion, is it your sponsor or anything?)
Oh look, it's a game with badges. *Starts up game* *Sees 'click to buy gold button'* Why is a 'click to buy gold button' the first thing I see? Oh, wait. It's a MMO. 1/5.
@CharredNewt There's a thing that's called pride. It's a rare quality that almost nobody has. But it makes a poor man rich, and a delivery boy feel useful. It's something you obviously do not have. (Nooffense)
The fireflies are actually tiny enemies that aren't capable of doing something dangerous at all, but that you still have to kill just to set an example. Before they're nuked down. Or something like that.
Haha, nice one !
