The music is amazing. More levers, more pipes, etc... I think it's fine, plenty friendly. It would be better if you could control more than one lever, maybe keyboard controls during fights.
The bars say RGB, but the colors are CMY... Other than that, it's just poorly done. The bottom of the screen is cut off, the message boxes are too small to read (and you shouldn't have to visit another site to use a feature) and some bars--colors for example--are applied when they shouldn't be, (if you click a part in the menu, the colors are automatically applied) and others aren't applied until you click them again. (Width and height) It's not a game by any means, either...
Ok, I take it back. Should have played the game a little further; the 'girl' bombs and the like mix it up a bit. Still only 4/5, but because I see no way to mute it.
It's not unbiased, but that aside, the game isn't that great... I suspect this wasn't about the game in the first place, but really. Votes count as 1 point, smilies count as 4, and if they fall past the paddle? Both count as -1/4 a point... Obama isn't -that- close to winning.
The screen transformations made it a little more interesting than most similar games. Powerups would be nice, I tried to grab the green rectangles when I saw them... <.< Badges too, perhaps.
Add enemies, or moving parts or some such thing, and make it so that W/up moves you in the direction of your mouse.
Besides that, it's a good game. 4/5 :)
Two stars seems fair. I hate that it opens in a new window, that would shrink the rating drastically but it may be Kongregate rather than this game. (It may be both) Other than that, I've just seen it too much before... It reminds me a little too much of an old game, although not a flash game, Subspace Continuum. Even after that, it just seems too much like Starfighter: Disputed Galaxy. Maybe even with fewer features. It gets a Two, though, because there are a few features I haven't seen before, and the graphics on the first screen look nice.
It crashed Firefox, for the record.
It is very slow and glitchy, although I admit that I haven't yet tried it in low res. The music is repetitive after a while, and you can particularly tell on the first screen, but 3/5 anyway..
There are a few things that could be done to make the game better.. More could be done with duck, and the enemies could react when a body falls in front of them from above...
Music's decent, concept's decent, although aside from the restarting on level 1 thing, collision detection seems a little tiny bit buggy. (I collide with the bottom of a wall about a centimeter away from it..)
It looks like there was supposed to be a password thing to get back to the level you were on, but you don't receive passwords, or they aren't visible enough...
It would be ok if the physics were a little better, or if the ball at least did anything. And that bird is really just annoying, it doesn't add anything to the game at all.. The AI had no I :(
