Can we please please *please* have the option of muting the extremely loud noise that occurs every time you rebirth? Is the option already there and I missed it? I love how much attention this game is getting from you in terms of updates and improvements, and this one seems like it would be so minor, but honestly it scares the shit out of me every time.

@61sprinkes - region boss health doesn't replenish between encounters, so you kill them over the course of a few encounters (usually).

$150,000 for a basic necklace with no stats? I mean, I know I'm gambling here, but damn.

Frankly, it would have never occurred to me to use a guide if the badge commentary didn't allude to it so strongly.

Grypht, it takes so long to get money because they are banking quite literally on you getting impatient and buying it.

Though I realise how pedantic this is, the timed mission challenges should read "at most", not "at least". For example, "Win this level in at least 3 minutes" suggests that you will succeed in completing the challenge if you finish with the clock at 3:01 or above.

scottandruby, that would probably create a massive defensive advantage, as every defense deck would play its cards in the most optimal order, while offense would still be relegated to draw order (mostly). Being able to set a card priority for defensive play *would* be really nice, but is a fairly complex implementation I would imagine - far too tedious for the payoff.

Thank you for taking the time to implement a clean, intuitive, readable UI. So few games on this site can fall under that description.

Goofman, you are presented with a few crates every day - you choose one for a somewhat randomised reward. Sometimes it contains very little, sometimes quite a lot. Occasionally it will contain a War Bond. Some people seem to think that this doesn't happen often enough, but WBs are how these guys bring in notable revenue.

Not that I have only criticisms of this game - there are plenty of positive comments in this section and largely I agree with them. It just seems that the game is lacking in interactivity. The player doesn't really have a way to influence what the penguins are doing, and they're not particularly autonomous. You use roughly the same sequence of abilities every game, and then just sit back and hope your penguins don't get stuck on a wall or in an infinite loop of sporadic running until you get to the stats screen. Some method of influencing the penguins direction (something as simple as clicking to rally your penguins on that point, while crude, would effectively alleviate the AI issue) or setting priorities (targets: nearest, strongest, most threatening, etc.) would allow the player to feel a little more... "in" the game.

Additionally, the phasing turtles are really just annoying. At some point a developer should stop and ask "is this bit really fun?". I am not so certain that helplessly watching your penguins run back and forth without any hope that they'll actually nab a turtle - barring random luck with a phase-in - is really all that fun.

The AI in this game is just downright awful. It isn't really an acceptable excuse to say "well penguins are dumb lol!" when most games' final moments come down to whether or not your penguin gets stuck on a wall.

Pretty creepy to watch my adorable yellow duckling evolve into a sickly green lanky monstrosity, but I have always been a fan of the DuckLife games, so 4/5.

Started a Pyon Invasion mission where I was completely trapped by water, and unable to continue. Obviously I could withdraw my students from the battlefield, but the resulting 0 LP for the week resulted in me being unable to promote and subsequently graduate a duelist, thereby forcing me to fail a fame evaluation. This might not be a common issue, but when I'm 3/4 of the way through the hard badge and I fail due to circumstances beyond me control, it's... aggravating.

Wow. I am thoroughly impressed. TD games can usually score a 4/5+ on this site simply by being an exact clone of a previous game with a different visual theme, but you've really gone above and beyond the current standard to create a fairly innovative and engaging game. Kongregate could do with more games of this standard.

Probably the least engaging combat I've ever experienced in a game. I want to try to enjoy the out-of-combat gameplay, but when I have to go adventuring it just makes me want to find something else to play.

Four Dwarven Boon and four Mud Golem. It's been said before, but if you're lucky enough to get the Boons early on in the game you will win every subsequent game within a minute with this eight card deck. I found this to be a really creative game, and I enjoyed it, but some seemingly messy programming and perhaps the most tortuously convoluted interface I have ever seen in a flash game resulted in a pretty low rating. It has huge potential, but needs some longevity and a much, much better method of library management.
