a little too repetitive. Maybe include more variation, or something, so that it isn't just "earn more than the last round! Get more pearls this go! Oh look, the pink things spin now!". Other than that, not a bad game.
even though the monsters get harder & towers cost more the more you upgrade them, the gain from each monster stays the same, even on easy. This is annoying.
aww, they're adorable! controls are a bit finicky, though, which is frustrating. On the plus side, there's a satisfying amount of toss & bouncing about when you throw stuff. Jelly tamgrams, kinda.
This is annoying. I've won. I have all the newspaper bits, I've entered the right numbers & VERYTHING, but nothing is happening. The game is not recognizing anything. I can move, I can shift (tried that one already), but. It. Won't. Let. Me. WIN. GAH.
Nice graphics, I don't know about the music because I'm at work, so the speakers are off. Good take on an old style, but not badly done, like ded_bansai said, it just needs some polish.
Others have mentioned how it becomes physically impossible to continue after a certain point, so no need to rehash that. Contrary, the earlier levels are so slow they're almost irritating; it'd be nice if there was a way to advance the next row early, say by clicking on the loading row for instance. The little number that pops up, saying how much that group earned you will sometimes make it so you can't see groupings that are nearby; if you could take the opacity of those down to 70%, 80%, that would be a non-issue.
It's simple in the a way that is good, because sometimes you just want a mindless clicking game, but I was a little disappointed when there was no introduction of new colours, to mix it up a little. Overall a well done initial go.
Wow. I'd say this is likely one of the best click-through type games that I've ever played. Well thought out, the puzzles weren' t insanely difficult to figure out, but at the same time they weren't completely obvious either. I like how things from early on are used later; I don't think I can say more on that front without giving things away, so I won't. Overall very satisfying game. We going to get badges (or a badge, I guess) for this one? Definitely deserves it.
Awesome game. Beautiful graphics, good concept, addicting game play (to me at least). I love how when you let loose with a bunch of waves all at once, the monsters along the path resemble masses of demons as envisioned by certain Japanese artists.
Have to also scowl at my own OCD. Bad OCD. *shakes finger* I went to Armor Games to see what the locked items were, and ended up playing until I beat it there, too. It didn't take quite so long; the locked amulets give more bonuses, which lets you level up faster.
Good, but I rather liked the vector graphics of the first one. Here, half the time I got the difference through recognizing the marks left by photoshop, or a colour change that did not fit with the lighting. I liked the inclusion of the animations into some of the differences, like when the train & giraffe passed and it changed something behind it-- a simple but effective trick; if something changes abruptly, you notice it, but if it changes in the wake of a larger change, it doesn't register, even when it is a major change. 5 stars.
