It is very possible for you to screw yourself on this game. Let that be a warning. If you even "think" you're not going to make it, use your wings. I'm at like level 60+ and never got a keepable weapon. i'm cannot make it past the 1st level after 60.
There are guys that jump up one floor. The level i'm on doesn't have doors 1 level up. The guys jumped up there and there's no where for them to go. I don't have any money left to build anything there. what do you do?
voted otterbox13's comments about character/class recommendations. i did fighter/healer/rogue/mage to start off. did pretty well at it. switched to his recommendation of fighter/mage/rogue/healer and kaeli's typhoon is much more powerful for group encounters than rueben's winter's grasp (single target). i'm doubling up rueben's class to be a fighter to gain access to Triton's Wrath (level 60 though heh).
I've read comments about there being 50 levels. I am currently level 25, and i think skill level 31 on every character (gained the additional AP from the side quests). Where are the other 25 levels? I also noticed i'm missing beastiary kills. Are these in the additional 25 levels I'm missing? I've tried getting passed level 25 again by beating the end game boss. However, it takes me right back to town. I also have not yet won the expert game yet.
just as a heads up, i've never played a game like this before. all i see area people running around and i cannot seem to play. might need to include some basic instructions for people coming into this game for the first time.
going to reiterate what someone else wrote:

I did this with maxed stats. last level was piece of cake with random stuns and heals.
to beat stompy, use your boomerang to hit the eyes when the feet come down. you don't have to jump. if you noticed, your boomerang goes further in the opposite direction. so aim down and to the right/left and it will come back and hit the other eye.
