Fix these things and I'll rate a 5:
1. You should never lose stats, especially if you don't die.
2. Consider re-itemizing the armor so that there is a balance between skills and stats.
3. If you program something out of the norm to see how it works, try giving the person playing the game a little heads up about it.
great game! would like to see an expanded version with a little bit bigger playing field. maybe include harder-to-beat monsters and upgradeable blocks.
i rarely comment negatively but the controls are not very good. not responsive enough. but, that's the way you designed the game so if i wanna play then that's what i gotta deal with.
Not sure if the game creators ever look here, but this game is definitely worth commenting on. I liked the action. I liked the quests. I liked the riddles. However, I highly encourage you to do 3 things:
1. make a bigger map with dungeons, maybe do something like zelda where they just reused the same map over again for harder levels.
2. make sure you can wander all around the map and not screw up your quests. i played 3 times before i realized that you can screw yourself by entering a city before you are supposed to.
3. incorporate some type of pvp.
this is hands down the best game on this site . however, it is based on previous games, therefore ,i cannot give you all the credit. however, of it's genre, it's the best one.
giving you a 3 of 5. it's ok to "stack the deck against us" but if you want repeat players, you're going to have to pull in a chance card or something. the challenges make someone wnat to vomit.
