Also, being a patreon contributor i feel obliged to mention: i *do* prefer that you take whatever time is needed to polish AV and deliver another great game than risk wasting it by rushing it to completion. So, thanks for being so dedicated to delivering high-quality products, and even more thanks for bringing us this filler as replacement for the expected delivery (you definitely didn't have to do that, but it really is great that you chose to do it anyway).
Ok, at first i was like "yeah, the riddles aren't so good, and i'm not really into those time-limited thingies", but then came the jokes, and then came Ada (dude, that was EPIC!), and them came the ending, and now here i am rating this "filler" episode a solid 5/5 and wishing for more.
I liked the idea, but seriously, seeing how repetitive those 25 rooms were I can't say I'm too eager to try out the 50x Rooms version. Rated 3/5, could have been a 4 if it had been shorter or less repetitive.
I have very mixed feelings about this game. I think you got the "idle" part right (this "pixels filling bigger pixels" concept is kinda neat) but the "game" part is seriously lacking: there is not enough variety in game mechanics, very little interaction, a single viable strategy... e.g. compare to Realm Grinder where you have factions, challenges, excavations, research, mercenaries, prestige etc., and you actually get 6 factions with different playstyles out of the box and keep getting more good stuff as you advance through reincarnations. RG, Crusaders, Idle Wizard et al. are games that kept me interested for months while I've been filling pixels for a bit over two days now and I already feel I've seen everything that had to offer. So far I'm thinking "nice try, but that won't last more than another day or so". 3/5, "liked it, probably won't play again but nice try anyway"
Thanks for honest feedback, I am aware I can't compete with Realm Grinder or Crusaders, those are games that have been now updated for few years, developed full time by teams of developers with hundreds of thousands dollars budget, while my humble game was made by one person in free time over the span of few weeks. But this won't discourage me from updating and making the game better, so maybe one day I can stay beside the best in the genre!
Since the last update, the "back to village'" button is broken: it makes the bottom-right button panel disappear (both the map and village icon are hidden) without leaving the area, the only way for me to return to the village is by refreshing. Clearing the cache didn't help.
Today, you ran two updates which forced a reload of the game while I was in combat. The second time, the battle was actually over and I was about to click the chest to get my loot: I just lost 6 corns and 2 battles worth of loot for playing at the wrong time without having received any notification before that. Nothing too dramatic, of course, but still pretty annoying.
We're working on a notification/warning feature before updates. Also, note that for your second combat, although you did not click on the chest, you still received the loot (clicking on it, just reveals what the server gave as reward). And once things calm down a bit, updates should be more scheduled.
Thank you, I am currently thinking of making a patreon page and releasing the game every month. What do you think from a players point of view? Also, I am keeping it at 500 dollars per game, is that okay?
Got the badges, i'm out. You did everything in the book to treat your players like cattle and try to milk them to the last drop. I felt completely used and insulted and hated every single minute of it. 1/5, of course.
Wow. Just wow. 5/5 and favorited right away, no question asked. If it passes a DC22 "not bored after 2 weeks" check, I'll gladly put some money into this.
I'm really glad this got badges, especially after I've struggled so much to collect the ones from all-laggy barely-playable mood-killing Strikeforce Kitty 2
Got the badges, I'm outta here. Too bad, this game could have been *so* fun otherwise. It has lots of great ideas, nice concepts... I guess this is what you get when you combine good design and crappy programming skills. The obvious defieciency in PR doesn't help either. So disappointing. Would have deserved 5/5 for the great stuff, actually deserves about 2/5 for the frustration and unplayability, rated 1/5 to compensate for the artificially high 4/5 rating the game started at. It tells a lot that I'm very close to 100% completion but won't bother to finish collecting the few tickets and costume I'm missing. Very, very disappointing indeed.
Thank you *so much* for setting perfect scores that do not require pixel-like precision with each jump! This could easily have become a freakish nightmare otherwise
Very funny game, 5/5 but one major disappointment though: explosions are way less satisfying than expected... they are hard to trigger, do very litte damage, their pushback effect has very random effectiveness and finally they don't set anything on fire. Kinda weak if you ask me.
