"Hey I noticed you are using this 10dps sword, there isn't any better sword to buy but if you pay me 40 kreds, I'll give you this 57dps sword! Hurry and buy now or the offer will be gone forever!(until my next kred offer in 5 minutes)"
Those one-time purchases are completely optional for players to want to get a leg up early. You'll also find great weapons in the world and by using the forge. =)
Need an auto-call next wave as soon as available, a fast-forward as already mentioned and the ability to tell towards of a target priority (first, last,hp,ect)
Exclusive pay-to-win mechanics like gambling, skill upgrading, extra damage, unlimited money (used for all sort of upgrades), auto pick-up, etc. It will be rubbed in your face at every occasion.
Also a "spam-your-friends" mechanic so you can get bonuses for inviting friends.
There is a lot of PvP so enjoy getting your ass raped by wallet-warriors.
First game I've seen for a long time that doesn't seem to be a pay-to-win, 5/5 for that alone. The problem though is that the way the timers and energy system work make the game requiring too much time (you'd have to play every half an hour to keep up). That aside hmmm, big boobs everywhere. Also the progress seems very little as in your heroes level up and gear up but gain extremely small bonuses. Same for research and buildings, they add very little per upgrade, which make the game somewhat less exciting.
Haven't come across any bugs, seems polished enough. Some good mechanics and a different combat system than all other "mmo"s on kong. Lacks a queuing system for researches/buildings. Lacks stuff to do but overall has more potential than other similar games for not trying to suck on everyone's wallet nor being a copy paste.
Hi Zgod... When we designed the game, one of our first goals was to make a game that was specifically NOT pay-to-win. We have a complex algorithm for PvP that only matches you with players who have similar deck strengths as your own. Yes, it is difficult to get the rare cards without paying, but those cards enhance the enjoyment of the experience, but do not guarantee wins.
We'll continue to tune the game to assure ALL players can enjoy the game without feeling like they HAVE to pay. We'll be adding features such as limited-time events that will give all players a chance to earn rare cards by grinding through. Thanks for your feedback. We do appreciate it.
This game is ridiculous, I can see 7 mercenaries for hire and 5 of them have to be bought with kreds currency. Paid weapons deal 4x as much damage as weapon bought with in-game currency and similarly with armors, kreds paid ones deflect all bullets. This is just a whoever has the biggest wallet win type of game. Oh and it works with energy too, of course. Almost forgot, it also require you to spam friend people for bonuses in game. 1/5, next.
Hey Zgod, thanks for your feedback! We're paying close attention to what people are saying. In terms of social features - we do make a point to allow people to opt out of them if they don't want to utilize those channels - we know not everyone wants to send stuff out to their friends. It's one of those situations where you un-check a box on a screen. Hope this helps a bit, but regardless - we appreciate you checking us out :)
Most everything in this game requires you to spend money. Most areas can only be unlocked with real cash. Many unique miscrits requires you to pay as well. Items (relics) also cost real money. Energy to heal yourself can be purchased.
Pretty much another of those "whoever spends the most money wins" game, taken to a new level since you also need to pay for content. Yes, this game is a demo if you don't pay.
Also, I am pretty confident that Kong admins on purpose inflate rating of those "multiplayer" games with real money shops to push them on the front page so they get a share of the sales before the money-sink... I mean before the game dies.
Make all daily events happen twice a day with a 12h difference, but with max 1 participation per event. This would allow people from any timezone to enjoy them.
Seems like all new ninja-kiwi's games are becoming pay-to-win like what mmos do. I'm not sure I like this trend going onto single-player games as well.
