I think the Skool could use some work. I mean, come on, how am I supposed to know something like 13 x 15 right off the top of my head. I think maybe you could stick to the basic multiplication tables i.e. 1x1 through 12x12.
I played this game once, and gave it a 3/5... Until I discovered the secret teleporter with the BTTF Easter egg, then my rating went up to 4/5... Then I saw the ending. 5/5 from me, great job.
@Brutal_Eddie: I've been stuck on Level 8 for like 4 hours now. That doesn't mean I'm going to hate on the game because I keep getting the bad luck of the draw. I'm not saying that everyone expects to be handed the hard badge, they just need to stop whining about how hard it is. It is possible too, it just takes time and patience.
Its not about luck. It's a card game, where the deck gets "shuffled." Play solitaire in real life, you don't win all the time (unless you cheat). Same simple concept of "Not cheating, play game, deck is 'shuffled' and not stacked to win every time." People stop your pissin' and moanin' about it being "Random," and it taking "Luck" to get the badge. Of course it does, its a freakin' card game for crying out loud. That is what makes it challenging. Therefore, that's why that badge is a hard badge. It takes some skill and patience to win. Stop expecting Kongregate to just hand you the hard and impossible badges. Shut up, sit down, and actually play the game. No, there isn't a walkthrough for the hard badge, darn that means you'll actually have to play the game.
I see nothing wrong with this game, other than the kinda intrusive ads for the app store. I think there may be some people who are to lazy to figure the game out and may require some sort of tutorial, but I have no problems with the game itself. I find it rather fun and a little bit relaxing. Maybe some suitable background music would be nice for the game. Anyways, keep up the good work.
oh and in my opinion, the short list of creatures is good, I honestly don't like having to keep track of like, a hundred or so creatures. That's why I stopped playing Pokemon around Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, too many creatures to keep track of, and now there are 493 Pokemon. No thanks, lol, I'll stick to the short, simple game of Monster Saga.
I like the game and how it works. It's actually really fun to play without being dreadfully long. Short and simple list of monsters to train. Just a few typos I noticed. I just wish we could choose to nickname our creatures or not. I like their actual creature names more than the nicknames I get sometimes.
That moment when your conveyor belt is full, your hero's inventory is full, he doesn't seem to be able to find a star when you need it, and you're at 198 seconds. Stupid crossbow for not fitting anywhere...
Kinda reminds me of the old Crusin' games, you know, like Crusin' USA and such. Great idea, needs less "traffic" cars and a little work on the graphics. I can see where others would have complaints about the game, but I personally think its got a good start (for a racing game), but I know you guys at Turbo Nuke and Robot JAM could do better. Add some more polish to this game and it could be a winner. 4/5 from me anyways.
Definitely don't like the "rush" aspect of the game, would like to have the chance to fully upgrade my units/builds so that I may completely "takeover" my opponents.
I love the game. Just one thing I noticed, the gold voucher seems sometimes to appear too soon (before you have a chance to have 500 gold), and sometimes, one you have more than 500 gold, it seems to never appear. Still 5/5 from me though. Looking forward to a sequel.
In my search to rule the highscores list just for a little while, I finally found that game, even just for a little while. Honestly, I don't understand why nyan cat is so popular, he's just a pixelated cat with a pop-tart body... how is that cool? I missed something somewhere, and the song is really annoying, thank god for the mute button.
