I'm so tired of sliding fourty feet when i just want to manuver to one side just a little bit. And don't even get me started on the bananas! I ran into one patch, and my car spun around four times befoure I could go any where!
I'm running a system that can run fall out 3 at medium settings, but for some reason, i can't get this game to run fast enough that i can actually control my little ship.
5/5 because the game maker realized that a game doesnt have to have magnificant graphics in order to be interesting, and for the fact that he or she was able to tell a story with out ever putting a single word down for the player to read (past instructions)
Yes, final bosses are supposed to be a challenge, but this is no such thing. The game has no real tactic other than put out a heavier unit, or a larger number of units, before the enemy can. obviously, that doesnt work, since the computer can spawn hordes of monsters far superior to any thing you can spawn. Now this could be worked around with some persistance, but the details of the boss are what make this obnoxious. Since you can only do damage to him through melee, your only real choice of armament must get up close to the monster in order to do any thing. The problem is that when ever they get close enough to stop and swing, something explodes, and men fly every where, dying horribly. Thus the only unit capable of doing any thing is the titan unit of each race, since they do not fall, and the angle, which appearently only heals the beast. So, could some one please tell me the challenge here? Because all I see is the equivalance of a high school prank: it's just stupid.
Normally something this small isn't very entertaining, but this was an exception. It was very enjoyable, and the ending was a nice twist of thought. If future games include such whit, I look forward to them.
This is a fun game, that is enjoyable, and a bit of a challenge to get the awards. I give it high points. However, if you aren't supposed to go in circles, how is it supposed to be played? The only "safe" way to get to one hundred flawless kills would be going in circles.
A mouse aiming option would be good, even if it only works at close proximity to the tower, so that you can actually aim at the enemy when there are over 100 units on the screen. Other wise, you cant do too much as support fire
Even with all settings set to low, and a relitively new computer, eventually the amount of lag created by every little thing creating particles just made it impossible to kill the last four generators closest to the core, because half the time the game ignored the controls. It was THAT BAD!
Other wise, a rather well made game. The upgrades helped immencely.
This would be better with a quality setting. When more than three things are attacking, its near impossible to aim. You just have to hope they cross your beam.
Obviously a great deal of thought went into this game, and it is probobly alot better than a great deal of genericly made defence games. I know no one likes to hear a whiner, but the lag became unbearable on later levels. Eventually, it came down to what ever you set up, is what you have to fight. No mid wave upgrading for you!
An awsome concept, an awsome game, but far too many levels for a badge. Over all it was a good game, but eventually, like most other puzzle games, it got old, but you can't save as far as I can see.
This game refuses to play. I either get an out of focus image of a water environment, or i get several layers of different menus that i cannot interact with.
Eventually the game lagged itself to death, and was impossible to continue, even with quality set as low as possible. Otherwise, it's one of a great series of side scrolling shooters that is the flash equivilant of Unreal Tournement! That is, if you don't count Unreal Flash!
