Game screen is way too big even in cinematic mode, controls are glitchy (making me run in a different direction than I wanted), clicking on ANYTHING makes the page scroll down (wasn't even able to see if there was a tutorial/missed important details because of this), encountered a spider that killed me five seconds into the game because of the glitchy controls (not sure if that was supposed to happen because of everything else).
Looks like it could be a fun game, but I can't play it.
Thanks a lot for your feedback, Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done regarding the screen size, but as for glitchy controls, if you could let me know what OS/browser you are using I could definitlly look into what the problem is for you! :)
A banking system would be cool too, and if you're looking to expand/make a sequel having different lands you could travel to in order to create a trade empire would be interesting. This would allow for pirate battles and the ability to get involved in war, kept simple but employing the same system used to support the Red Banner and Blue Banner factions.
Game needs more events and existing events to occur more often, and an end goal. Once I got to 10,000+ gold I got bored. Would be interesting to see how the ability to have a personal fleet would play out. More villains too, and possibly a reputation system that influences how the rest of the game world views you based on the decisions you make. On the plus side, game was engrossing enough to keep me awake several hours after the time I intended to go to sleep.
Is there a way to lower the quality of the graphics in the game, like a high/medium/low kind of thing? I keep finding that in the starry night part, it slows down my computer way too much for me to actually be able to do anything with each successive wave.
