Hi Zohh, understandably the 'auto battle' aspect of the game isn't for everyone, but the deck-building part of the game is where the strategy is and I think you will find it to be quite complex/rewarding as the game progresses. I intentionally chose to keep the battles hands-off so that they can be played very quickly, at 10x speed a battle will take a minute or less, compared to sitting down for 15+ minutes to play a traditional CCG. This does provide a different experience than something like Hearthstone, but I think a lot of players will enjoy the pace and intensity of the battles.
I really enjoyed Gravitee Wars and that multiplayer version looks awesome. But I'm very surprised there is no bot system to allow us to play despite the very few number of players. Actually I can't play at all since there's not enough players even to launch a single game.
Tribal axethrowers are a bit overpowered : with the two totems they neutralize both physical and magical resistances, and they're very cheap.
Focus specialisation on archery, meteor and guard invocation (in case you're outnumbered by enemies), and use Mirage as hero (to me the best DPS, and with the dodge skill you rarely die).
All you have to do for each mission is using archery towers (better 1 fully upgraded on each path than 5 basics ones), with the totem skills as soon as possible. Mirage blocks the survivors, and you progressively add other archery towers.
I beat the whole game (in normal) this way, with 2 stars minimum.
Almost perfect, but the game needs to last longer, for instance with a survival or challenge mode. I Had great pleasure to play but it's been over too fast with not re-playability at all. Frustrating...
Old Warhammer-like, Great ! Maybe you could make moral rules, for instance attacking from behind gives a damage bonus and can make the ennemy run away, or in case of big number difference. Running away troops could be killed very easily. Pretty sure it would make the game even more tactical. Anyway, great game, 5/5 ;)
