This is completely idiotic. There is no way to tell if you are progressing. When you die it says hit space to continue from checkpoint but there is no way to tell weather you've gotten to the 1st checkpoint or not.
I'm having the same problem. When I play level 2 while they are still popping the "oh no" comes up on screen and I lose for no reason. Also why would a game this simple have lag?
Seems like the flying around planets bug would be fixed if units could simply rotate like normal. A "hold" command that auto attacks the most dangerous targets first would help greatly.
Another way to get stuck, after you rescue the thing the next screen over is the large lever. When you raise the left one and crouch jump to the left into the doorway you get stuck. It would be nice if a game this buggy has a autosave or a reset to last screen but I really doubt it.
"The orange square should not collide with the walls" does sound better. And maybe, "A maze within a maze? This is true, a little maze is coming." That might be what you wanted.
