First day I got to the third map. Second day, I'm STILL on the third map. This is so typical of money-grabbing games such as this. Go hang out on Facebook, I'm insulted enough this got badges.
Ok guys, here's the magic solution to all our worries. The Knight is the kind of character that needs to be supported, right? That in itself isn't wrong, but what is wrong is that he levels disproportionately because guard kills don't award experience. If guard kills DO award experience, the knight should level with the others, gain more health (assuming leveling up doesn't reduce his health, as many have claimed) and thus not die as often. Either that or make the knight be able to survive on his own.
My only request is when you put a card in your deck, it needs to be in a different place when examining your cards so that you know which cards are OK to tear up and which ones aren't.
Fantastic job Nerdook. One improvement I'd like to see is that if you get stunned, the path you click should disappear. This can be a major pain especially once the poison ship things appear that force you to take a hit, at which point if you have clicked afterwards your hamster is forced to take the path you chose. At that point, it is often no longer applicable as the enemies have fallen down further. Still, 5/5
This game used to work fine for me but I tried it today and it's rather unplayable due to its tendency to lag every second or so. This happen to anyone else, or anyone have a fix for it?
In addition to the glasses and dinosaur easter eggs, you can also get on the UFO! To do so, go through the path to the dinosaur easter egg. Instead of passing through the smasher when you get to the top, instead shoot yourself on to the cliff on the upper right. Then, jump to the right and shoot yourself as far to the right and up as you can. You should land on the area you need to hit to kill the UFO. From there, though there is a cliff you should be able to jump on to the right, you can see that you cannot actually jump on it.
Easy money: Throw the plane straight up and use all your fuel to go as far up as possible. If you make it to 100m+ (much better if you go even higher) you encounter space stars worth $25 each. Without any fuel, you should coast along, grabbing tons of cash before you swan dive down.
This game is seriously underrated. The game play is original and fun, and the songs have a huge variety (anime to techno to screamo, I don't know a greater variety than that). If I had to complain it would be that perfects are slightly too easy to get, but then again, they sure as hell helped me with the final/final final bosses. I also don't really like how the songs start at the middle, go the right, and then end up on the left and lead back to the middle, but that's just a minor thing. Overall, amazing work, 5/5.
Sorry to say this, but this game is severely flawed. With no upgrade to the radius of the death ray, you have to use pinpoint accuracy on most enemies rather than being able to defeat them more easily. With no upgrade to damage or recharge rate, you're stuck doing the same thing, consistently, until it gets completely boring. And with such limited upgrades, I got the 7-chain lightning upgrade at level 12. I lost interest around level 17, and even then, such an upgrade was still useless as there were no groups of enemies larger than two or three. ALSO. When the lightning chains, you need to be able to see chained enemies' health as well as have them SLOW DOWN so it's actually chaining lightning and not just damaging them. 3/5
