If you're going for a highscore always check if the first level actually counts the time bonus. There seems to be a bug that prevents this from happening sometimes.
You can make acing a level a lot easier for yourself by counting the number of turns it takes to ace and then calculating what moves you can permit. Eg: you have to ace it in 8 turns and 6 coins are in the wrong place. That means you can move a coin from a wrong place to a wrong place twice or move a coin from a good place to a wrong place once. The rest of the time you have to move coins from a wrong a to a good place.
If you liked this, be sure to check out the multiplayer version on the dev's site. This game is kind of like CoD, the singleplayer is fun and good to know the basics, but it's all about the multiplayer
I don't think the fogs belongs in this game. It takes away strategy and replaces it with luck. A big part of strategy is being a step ahead of your enemy. If I can't see the production, the backuptroops and the possible other conflicts of my enemies how can I possibly know what they are going to do?
Challenge mode starts normally (slowly speeding to 100) but when the countdown stops it jumps to the speed set at training mode and doesn't accelerate.
The new version seems to have some collision problems , I escaped 4 times now without trying.. around 1000 speed and mostly in turns if I remember correctly.
I'd would be great if there was a special genre for highscore games like this , games like Dolphin Olympics, Music Catch, Love etc.. Great game btw (to compensate for the slight off-topicness)
@Felix Maxwell and Mindragon, highscores are bound by name if you don't set a name you're name will be guest. The highest rank achieved with the name guest is 7th, so if you don't put in a name your highest rank will be 7th.
Finally, a realistic racing game! Unlike what all the western propaganda is making you believe, sometimes you just lack the talent to win. And at that point a man is left with no choice but to violently kill everyone.
So some quick calculations.. there are 3 classes, there are the phoenixes and the guardians and also the merchants and the bandits. So assuming that there's an even spread between all those camps there just a change of 1/3*2*2 =1/12 that you're not at war with a random other person.. Don't trust anyone!
It's great you're adding extra content but instead of 3 extra classes, I'd rather see more depth in the classes that were already there. 5 Skills per class barely leaves any room open for a customized playing style.
