A wonderful game! Beautiful visual style sound design. I would have like to have heard footfalls and more dynamic audio to justify the instructions to use headphones at the beginning. The platform clipping could use a bit of work but not much.
I didn't feel any sort of malice from the "nightmare town" or any particular connection to the main character. The driving force behind this game for me was discovering all of the music.
Which, surprisingly, isn't as bad as it sounds. Great game. Too short! I was only challenged on two levels, 14 and 17, but they were really enjoyable. Actually, 17 really just made me wish I had two cursors to work with, but hey. Beggars and choosers, yeah?
Very nice game, and I agree with pretty much of the positive comments below. Two small tweaks could make it better: When clicking on bombs/fuses to adjust their position, they should drag from where they were clicked, instead of snapping to the cursor. When trying to fine tune placements, if you don't click dead center, the bomb or fuse can jump a pretty good distance. Second: being able to delete individual bombs would be nice, so you could reduce the complexity of your attempt without clearing all bombs or scooting unwanted but already placed ones to the side.
I've visited all the safe locations in The Pit but only a few of the achievements got checked off. All the safe locations are green, so revisiting them doesn't help.
Very nice game, if you've got the sound muted. The baby in particular drives me nuts. Otherwise, a very well rounded and polished game. (Note, though, it's any key not anykey, and it's every day not everyday in the intro.)
Ok, this is just an amazing game. If you don't have the patience to figure it out, maybe it's not for you. HOWEVER, if you've ever liked a free running game this is right up your alley. Sure, it'll make you want to tear your hair out after ten levels but it's so so satisfying to actually medal.
Good golly that's tough. I envy the nerd that has enough time to master this game because it seems like it'd really rock once you got the hang of it. 5/5
Fun, but just a collection of sloppy level design. Every single level was either a lucky shot or could be solved by random blasting. The "secret" levels with mechanisms outside the playing field really sucked.
Ok game. More showing off physics designs than an actual user challenge. Bit of an odd premise as well but the visual style wasn't horrible.
Too many bugs, poor english translations and hit-or-miss solutions don't do the developer justice. 3/5
Thanks, both good suggestions I'll look into for a sequel!
