I'm gonna venture a guess and say that this is a first attempt. Seems like you learned some slick-looking tricks in flash and wanted to use them in this game. Needs a LOT of polish. And this is only a demo? Of what? Are you charging for a full version somewhere? Please keep working on this.
I rarely ever give 5/5 ratings but this one earned it. The gameplay was balanced and challenging without getting frustrating. The immediate jump back into play after dying was very helpful in wanting to overcome the challenge. Great "boss" designs and platforming. 4/5. Then the ending. Wow! 5/5
After the first screen I fully wanted to hate this game, but I really couldn't stop. Falls under the "So Bad It's Good" category. Usually those are accidents, but this one does it on purpose, which I think is harder. Kudos.
Great game! Celebrim I'd like to hear your opinion on exactly what is "screwed up" about the gameplay. I thought it was pretty good (except that the only two mission objectives are "mine half" or "survive x minutes"). It does lag quite a bit for me when there are 200+ enemies on screen at the same time. And what game is this a copy of? I'd like to play that other game, if what you say is true. 4/5
Pretty good, but yeah, the physics are a little odd and bouncy. There's a good game in here somewhere, just needs some tweaks to bring it out. Overall, though, I still kinda like it. Maybe a leveling system where those little green things give points to use on upgrades (i.e. speed, life, turbo, etc.).
Odd... Very odd... But I liked it. I don't think I've ever seen a game like this. Originality and the soundtrack earn this game a 4/5 from me. To earn a 5 it would need some more polish and less annoying *squeek* sound effects. Good job!
Good, simple, well-designed, but shallow (which I realize is the type of game the designer was going for). Good job. Maybe add some variety with rounds like "Eat red only" or something like that. Anyway, well-done.
Good game. 3/5 cuz it got kind of old after a minute and it's extremely linear. The evolution mechanic is kind of just a shallow front for the game. I guess 3.5/5 cuz I just discovered the awards and stuff.
Time freeze does freeze the game. The play area goes dark and won't come back. Everything else seems to work, though. If this IS part of the game it needs to either be changed or explained better.
I've played and quickly quit this game many times, but this time I got kind of engaged. It needs to be just a LITTLE faster paced. Not just faster, but faster PACED. Anyway, the upgrades are good and it's got the makings of a good game here, but it could use just a little bit of automatic help in the form of auto-firing turrets.
As is I gave it a 2, but I realize it's still in beta. This has promise: Give some indication where the tower will actually be placed before you purchase it (see Vector TD), polish the graphics a bit (I hope these are just placeholders), and work on the interface; it seems too difficult do deselect a tower. Add hotkeys (every TD game needs hotkeys). Again lots of promise, just keep working at it and you'll have a great game!
Great idea for a shooter! Very fun. The play feels a little claustrophobic because of the obstacles (Good thing they're destructable!) and the slow fire rate on the weapons, but other than that this is a great game!
I really like the premise of this game. I'd like to see a sequel with more fleshed-out options and less squeaking. Maybe another element and more branching options for the towers. I beat it with almost no problem, so it was easy, but I liked it nonetheless.
