Finally beat the 6th level.
Started with minigun, and upgraded health only. It was tough, and it was almost destroyed, but i beat the first wave.
Afterwards i put 2 barriers in front of it and began saving up the 14 points to upgrade its Damage, and eventually bought a time freeze and lightning gun ( to waste the offshoots of the big ships).
Minigun is just made for that level.
The main reason this is difficult is because halfway through the enemies have triple the range you do, and infinite long range attacks.
Tom is crap slow and cant avoid anything, but on the other hand Dan takes forever to kill anything and dies faster.
Getting caught in an infinite knowckdown chain isn't fun either.
Overall, the game isnt difficult because of clever challenges, but because of sloppy controls, awkward movements, and cheap enemy tactics.
first try, 735 seconds, the Contra one made me say wtf for awhile, until i remembered the code, tucked away in the massive vault that is my video memory archives.
well... got a bug... i was fighting in the last level and all of a sudden the user interface dissapeared and the game froze on one section of the level... wouldnt let me pause and go to menu or anything.. lame
Why are people defending this game with 5/5 votes? .... it's not a good game, awkward controls, piss poor AI and accuracy for your soldiers, tactical points come way too slow to actually make much difference and you can easily be destroyed by a random atrillery or multiple grenade gangbang. Horrible game, 0/5 , don't lie.
