Gotta be honest here, the smoke ring shit irritates me. There isn't enough time to get to the temporarily held open doors.

The last level in which you play as Kathryn is the same as the one in 'The Company Of Myself'
In the other game, the shrink says that he doesn't remember any of his previous visits, and in this game, he didn't remember anything about Kathryn. The way he connects the two games in so many ways is amazing.
2dArray is a genius.

Hey, Thomas, could you be a dear and just stand right here in this doorway that's only open for a quarter of a second while I go over there and blow a smoke ring quick?

An interwoven story enmeshed with metaphoric symbols used in a progressive and delicate way that represents discovery and coping mechanisms of problematic people. Despite any initial impressions of the introduction or developing plot, the game carefully lays down psychology and philosophical questions to a variety of debatable topics. It also setups a saddening revelation to how the sequel came about. Bravo good sir.

Yep, that... that was sad... 5/5. I do feel good that it reminded me I've officially been smoke-free for 6 months now.

I really like The Company of Myself, but Fixation cannot be compared to it. Both music and storyline are much worse. TCoM was kind of intriguing, mysterious. Fixation is not. Moreover, the dialogs are silly in general, even irritating sometimes. The only advantage of Fixation is that the levels are a bit harder, but hey - it doesn't pretend to be just another logic and dexterity based game, right?

The timing on lvl 28 is way too exacting...over 100 attempts so far and the door to the second section always closes just as I hit the ground.

I really do love this game but I would have liked the bar that told me about the smoke rings timing to stay after the tutorial lvl.

needs a mute button.. right click only mutes the music not the sound effects and i wanna listen to some music not damn frogs.

Lol it took forever to load for me because of my retarded internet. I thought the game was just the spinning cigarette loading screen. But once I got to the game and finished it I thought it was a really great game.

It was really hard for me to still be sad when Henry died, mostly becuase in the open casket funeral he had Xs over his eyes.
Seriously how funny is it that I really started loving the character, hear he dies, my face goes blank, next panel? "X____X"

I wish there was a way to change the keyboard lay out, when I right click the little tool menu comes up and ruins the atmosphere

Would be awesome to be able to turn off the dialogue - I care not for it and the chat boxes popping up in game are annoying.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Somehow Henry's X:es for eyes while laying in the coffin got a slightly comedic effect, but does that really belong there?

Just saw the double points for this game and got all kinds of feels going on from when i played it and the prequel/sequel....... Good stuff

What a sad end... Does anyone else seem to realize that he just opened up the Pit o' Death right under her? And that she fell to her death?

To solve the Extra-Hard Upstairs Puzzle, all you have to do is blow a smoke ring, then walk into it to push it along. You don't get anything for it, though, "other than that tingly feeling of success and a statistics API call" that earns you the badge.
