Would be nice if there was some goal or storyline, or upgrades - as qwasek says, "some reason to play". Otherwise, interesting gameplay.

@31eee384 hasn't been active on Kongregate for over a year. All of your hopes and dreams have been shattered for what he can do whether it is a sequel or something else, just don't expect him to randomly come on and just make a sequel...

Not bad, sees like a pretty fun game to kill a bit of time with. And very rare to find a local two-player game in this site (since being huddled near a keyboard is no fun at times). I dunno if you're still around, but if you are, I wish you luck on the sequel.

Upgrades would be cool, faster collectors, more collectors, Collectors work on white (have it slowly collect random pixels)

i thought that multiplayer was online with someone else then i shot a collector and it didnt work then i realized it was 2 people 1 computer sort of thing. + if this happened to you too.

Good, addictive game. One caveat though: the controls seem to be a little wonky. They either lag or get stuck. Not ideal!

suggestion for the sequel's upgrades:
automatron:upgrades the things collectors can mine.(top mines rock)
Tools:upgraded mining speed.(top=full speed through ores, ore default speed through rocks)
engine:collector mining speed
(if enemies)cannon(expensive): buy weapons to shoot other minerbots
fuel:more time
clip:ammo for cannons
Thrusters:speed
collectors:# of collectors
thrusters:speed.

I wish that the developer would add an "infinite mode" option. You get infinite time, but when the field is cleared, it generates a new one. (Highscores enabled)
Also, is it just me, or are ALL of the BEST comments on how to improve the game?

I think in the single player mode, the timer should count UP rather than DOWN. And your final points should be based on how long it took you to clear 95% of the ore on the screen.

qwasek said it best... there's no "reason to play". There's no way to win. Winning and losing are not distinct concepts in the game... the ending is just the same for both when time is out. There's no second stage, no progression, no way to upgrade or get better, and no way to "die" and have to start over (because that happens regardless).

i feel like scores should be compensated for there being less available points on different maps. And i feel a larger radar would not detract from the game too.

I love this game. I just wish that the white was the same difficulty as colour to mine through. It means that on a sucky map you can still get the coloured pieces.

Whoa, 48 hours? Niiiiice. The music is rather amazing - one of the reasons I keep coming back to play :D ...But maybe the addicting nature of the game has something else to do with it.
