I love the look of the game, and hearing future plans, I am excited for it, though I think the retro style should stay.

No no no, you are both way misinterpreting this. Clearly this game is anti-racist, because it is placing a much higher value on the other, less populace "Yellow" "Red," Green," (and so on) races. It even encourages you to hate every pixel of white you see on the screen. ;)

Ok, I have a suggestion: how about making the most valuable ores to have metallic colors to them? I'm pretty sure gold, silver and copper can look yellow, silver and red. Platinum would be teal-colored, and cobalt is of course dark blue.

PLEASE make a sequel with upgrades, level objectives (collect X amount of y-color ore), Free mining mode (endless cavern), Upgrades, a shop, and maybe skins. 5/5 for this little nice game :3

What i really would love to see in this game, is a single player mode with unlimited time but randomnly generated maps.

I think their needs to be more of a race with upgrades. Maybe add conveyor belts to move the minerals out of the mine. Both the collectors and the belts need to be upgraded for performance, safety, etc.

This game has infinite potential, a huge addiction factor, the feeling when finding a large vein is great ^_^ A little implementation of the great ideas here and this game is going to be #1 on the Top Rated list!

I collected 95% of ores in my field and my score just 67k!?!? I have 536 red 500 yellow but I manage to have 10k of purple. Anyone want to buy purple ore? :( BTW,great game. 4/5

@Troscufka: When you shoot two collectors into the exact same place, the second just fails to attach. However, when you put two collectors in the same ore vein, twice the number of collector "waves" are emitted, and it collects twice as fast.

This game is racist! There is too much white! not enough representation of the other colors, which is more like colorist! Jk game developer, i like the game it's just that white resource always seems to dominate the map. This game is awesomesauce.

@koolaidsuper: While I generally agree, some people might not do the tutorial if they already know the controls. The game is very confusing for new players, and making them play the tutorial to learn the controls also teaches them the gameplay, which is probably a good thing.

Great game. Trying to find where to strategically place collectors to mine the largest quantities of ores is also good.

It's fun. Right now, though, the possible score on each level seems to depend heavily on luck. To make high scores meaningful, I'd say either fix the amounts of each ore available on each board, or have your score expressed as a percentage of the total ore collected.

I wish collectors fired off-screen would be returned to you. Additioanlly I've had some that hit a thin portion of ore and end up collecting nothing.

It needs some changes to the color scheme. I'm partially colorblind, so I have issues telling the yellow/green and the white/cyan apart. I'm sure there are other players that are completely colorblind and have no idea which color section they should be going for, simply because they can't tell which one is red.

Also, about the time limit: I plan to remove it in the play->upgrade->play->upgrade mode, but leave it in for high score rounds. I'm adding a bunch more content, too--it's basically a whole new game.

@digitelanimefan: It would be hard to put Minerbot on phones, for a bunch of reasons. Performance-wise, this game is very slow--the original engine code was written during an 48hr game competition. The interface would also require some significant changes to fit on a cell phone, too. I'll try to keep cell phones/mobile devices in mind when making the sequel though, would be neat to show my friends my game on the go. :)

@OliverHume: Except that the point of the time limit is to KEEP you from mining up the entire field. Otherwise, it'd be way too easy. I would argue for some alternate game modes though, and perhaps one of those could have no time limit, alongside some other goal/limiter/obstacle.

I kept wanting to mine the whole field as was frustrated by the time limit. Could there be some other goal? For example listing how much of each colour there is and having to mine a certain percentage of it? There being a penalty to mining white? Not sure about the opposing force idea.
