This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. Description
Match shapes and collect powerups to destroy the enemies. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST!!!
There are actually 7 types of enemies in all, but they come along as the game goes on.
Shout out to Coolio for inspiring this game with color wars.
This plays alot like color wars but with more enemies and powerups.
Please don't judge solely based on graphics, the game was not meant to be graphically brilliant-hence the name shape wars.
This game starts off slow but picks up pretty fast.
Better music is coming for it next week. :p
Please at least play it for a while before judging
****Update****
Update a few nitpicky areas.
AND NOW THE BIG PENTAGON CAN BE KILLED, PLEASE read instructions on how to kill it.
Unfortunately I can't get the pentagons killed stat to work correctly on Kongregate. Oh well, there is always high scores.
Update, complete new graphical redraw!!!
How to Play
Mouse to move and shoot, space to anchor, A,S,D to change shape weapons, read the instructions for powerups

Hmmm the game did more to me when it was black and white imo.
Big shape of the circle, triangle, square is less annoying by being colored but still is.

The game might be about shapes but that isnt a excuse for poor graphics (you and enemies+ bullets) its confusing and annoying.

I wasn't really sure when I had different power ups. Mainly I couldn't see whether I was invincible, had a bubble, or the pentagon. After playing a while I figured it out, but you should make it easier to tell.
