[V 0.719] Good game, very unbalanced though. You get 1M army too fast but rising the resource caps is way too laborious. Food becomes useless very fast, needs: 1) auto-sell food (maybe with less profit), 2) Auto-fire bow (maybe 50% slower) 3) Army should train slower and be harder to kill 4) battle tactics need more interesting names and effects like: Defensive Stance(-deaths), Agressive Stance(+deaths), Pillaging(+gold), Seizing(+Territory), Hostages(+Recluits). I look foward for some Diplomacy options :). Cheers

the trick to your army is to only bring as many army strength into battle as you use. i use only 100 soldiers on 3.0 difficulty, but i have 1,5m army str/minute being gained by the army left home. i could fight all day long and not run out of army strength

It would be nice if you could have an autosell option for food, for instance if you hit a certain amount of food it sells the quantity you put in

hmm, i keep getting a negative food supply every once in a while, probably because i produce too much and the game can't translate the number. when it happens, i get kicked out of the game and happiness goes down by 5. current farmers: 25.667.534 (it happens more and more often the more farmers i get)
I think it could be a lot better.. which is why I am completely redesigning every part of the game. Although it is going to take a few weeks to a month :/

The black characters that display the cost in the market are hard to read on the dark blue background, perhaps a higher contrast color would be better?
There is not too much to do in the game. I really did not plan on calling it an idle game but there did not seem to be enough things to do :/ People progress way too easily...

to be fair, yes. im at the Great King title (100+ territory), and I'm gaining about 3billion food, 1 million army strength and 84k research per minute. but we need a massive increase in storage first...maybe for an increase in title you gain storage x10? not sure if there are even benefits from higher titles atm.

Developer response: I didn't want people to be able to go away forever then come back to buy everything. :/ The storage limit was one of the last things I added but I think.. it is at a good place.

lol.... it can not be called a game if you never do anything your self. Without limiting storage then I would have to increase prices by A LOT more which would not allow people to play actively if they chose to. Gaining territory should hardly even be a problem anymore. I think some people have 30+ territory meaning they can upgrade each storage 150 times...

Version: 0.716 - Put a limit on the amount of workers you can gain through battles. Added the ability to remove 50 workers at a time by clicking the remove button with space held down (this is not described anywhere in the game though)
battles used to be VERY laggy. I did a lot of things to increase performance in battles. I read that rotating the arrow during flight would just make things worse so I chose to make it as a ball so then no rotating would be needed.

I do not believe that the battle upgrades for population loot chances are working. I don't really get people from drops often nor do I ever seem to get scholars from anything but kingdoms and sometimes city-states. Just got the title 'Great King' and am grinding down the diplomacy... I am so hoping that I unlock the last thing in the... city? The thing under Scribe. Don't spoil it for me for at least 30 minutes, please! After that time, I'm curious what that thing is and how do I buy it.

ok this is getting ridiculous. i had already about 80000 farmers. won a battle...40000 more! probably needs a nerf in droprate. on the other hand, i barely ever get scholars (battle upgrade maxed)

here's an idea: allow to buy, at a high cost, a faster way to manually train. a buy option in shop for a higher level tavern/uni/training camp that allows you to gain x10, x100, x1000 per dummy/book/seed. but the cost per dummo/book/seed is higher, say 15, 200, 2500 etc. going higher everytime you increase it?

the ability to sell 10k food at a time is wonderfull, thank you. could you please add some sort of increased sell/buy speed to the civilians too? (farmer, scholar, soldier). id love to get the balance between scholar/farmer a bit better, but i have so many farmers it would take forever to get rid of them

Added multiple more fixes improving performance. Now at.. Version 0.714 I will try to improve performance more tomorrow. I removed some saving that was not needed hopefully everything still saves when it should......

please, please introduce buttons for 1, 10, 100, 1000, 10000, 100000, up to say 1m, or an alternative where you can manually input amount to buy or sell where applicable. for example, due to being over run with farmers (2500 out of 3500 pop) and it taking forever to sell the food or the farmers.

1. Please Change the Color of the progressbars on farming to a light blue or even white, its hard to see on this background. 2. somehow i have 127 workers, but only 99 Population. 3. Farming lags 4. I cant buy library Storage uprgade lvl 18/19 although i have the money for it. 5. Somehow i dont lose any units after battles, so my army keeps getting bigger and bigger. I dont know if thats intentionally, but i hope not. 6. It makes no sense upgrading multi-arrow, when the total number of arrows on the field is limited. It only makes my bow worse because i have less shots to shoot.
1. fixed in update I am about to post, 2. you found workers from loot. If you have too many farmers you can remove them so you can buy other workers, 3. I know it lags just I do not know what is lagging it :/ 4. You might not have enough territory 5. You can actually gain battle strength from battles if you win by A LOT but that should almost never happen. If that is happening enough for you to comment then...... I don't know I will look through the code. 6. Did you upgrade arrow limit?

It is a bit laggy. For example when you're farming, after 3-5 clicks, it lags for half a second. Same with the market when you sell gold, when you upgrade, when you press icons. If that is fixed, I would spend a LOT of time on this game, it has the potential of being a masterpiece!
Right now raids happen they just.. do not tell you. I will probably add the text results of raids tomorrow somewhere but I really am wanting raids to be more than that. I just can not think of anything...

Version 0.705: I found the problem that people had with encountering weaker enemies as they played more. Now you should be able to gain territory a lot faster with 7250+ battle strength or 300+ battles won.

200+ battles, and + 0 territory. If you would want this game to be more Idle friendly - there must be some kind of idle change to gain territory. 0.704 does not fix much.

Just published new update with city state fix. This should finally allow people to encounter city states. I am 99.9999999999999% sure this time that it works properly.
actually... I forgot to press publish till just now lmfao. Anyway now I published it. I also fixed a bug with one of the formations.. The city state fix also fixed the encountering of kingdom enemies. The problem was when you encountered the harder enemies right after it would overwrite you encounter to one of the weaker enemies.

I've been pointing out a lot of things that are wrong with the game, but I must say I only noticed them and reported them because I absolutely love the game. I think that with a bit of work and perhaps some fancier graphics you are headed for a 5 star game here. Well done!

The remove feature for excess citizens is nice, but I don't use it. I have 866 / 168 / 500 population from finding people on the road in groups, in bags (!!!), or from battle loot. This is after a restart where I had something like 6000 soldiers and over 10 billion battle strength with 4.8 territory. As fun as this is, it kinda breaks the game. What I'd suggest is not adding citizens gained from fight loot to a player's total if it would exceed their territory total. Or at least consider giving an attrition rate of excess citizens each time the population counter finishes so that you lose 5-10 random citizens until you are back at your territory limit each cycle, this would encourage people to remove excess citizens on their own so they don't risk loosing precious researchers randomly.
After I finish the mini game rpg I will be completely reworking the way a lot of things work in the game. I am still not sure how things will work but I know I will be changing the random encounter system to have multiple zones rather than battle strength requirements, more enemy types, lower loot scaling by A LOT. I also am thinking of separating your civilization from your army. Your civilization will be mainly for defending raids...

Wow! You are fast. Great job on the fixes, those things work great now. However, since refreshing after the city state fix, I've been going through the x2.0 fight with a battle strength of 104000+ and diplomacy of 32% and haven't encountered anything that would reduce diplomacy. Just town guards and bandits. Before the refresh, I was seeing tons of those kingdom city guards or whatever those bluish haired guys were.

To replicate the bug I described earlier, try maxing out upgrades in this order; combat upgrades, then scholar, then soldier. I still cannot purchase farmer chance upgrade in the battle upgrades screen. Also please consider not removing maxed out upgrades from the upgrades screen. It makes it so that have to try to remember what they were, which makes trying to create an upgrade order list very difficult without restarting the game. It would also be nice to see what the maxed out upgrades are that I have previously purchased, this is mostly useful in battle upgrades.

City State fix should be finally working now........ 8% encounter rate with 7250 battle strength so if it is working someone should encounter one pretty fast after refreshing for new update

When upgrading battle upgrades, I have had upgrading farmer loot chance get stuck twice now. Both times I have maxed out several other things first, but then the farmer upgrade button is not selectable while my level is still 1. I like the better rate of acquiring territory. Good game overall!

I have encountered a couple of bugs. I cannot exceed 100 population despite my total population capacity is well over that amount. Also, whenever I lay off someone then buy another soldier, it doesn't confirm I bought it. It says I have 35 and buying any more doesn't increase that number. Fix these bugs and any others that people found and it's an easy 5/5.
When you say total population do you mean population or supported population? Supported population has no limit, while population is limited by supported population and territory. Does it take away your gold when you buy a soldier..?
What do you mean..? Your diplomacy lowers by itself when you fight. When it reaches zero you fight an enemy kingdom then if you win it goes back to 100.

Did the diplomacy encounter rate change? before update I would run into enemy kingdom often, but now I only get stupid bandit packs and town guards.
You should be encountering more enemies that will lower diplomacy than before. (You need 7250 battle strength to make sure you can encounter everything).

it's still totally broken, even after today's updaet (08 Jan).
I've spend good 2 hours in Fighting, and still got 0 new territories. I have all maxed out, and population is quite broken. 120000/109/15000 (120k total amount of people, 109 allowed by land, 15k population houses).
Still have lousy 3.6 territory and cant do any upgrades and such.
Is your battle strength above 7250? Small town = 1 in 25 chance of .1 territory, large town = 2 in 25 chance of .1 territory, city = 1 in 10 chance of ..1 territory, city state = 100% chance at .5 territory (although was bugged till now), kingdom vanguard = 3 in 20 chance of .1 territory, kingdom infantry = 1 in 5 chance of .1 territory, kingdom = 100% chance at 1 territory.

Hey Antigaming, just a little bug i found, if u want to buy a scholar, and dont have enough money it says "U need more territory" I don't this thats what it should be ;)
