Guys, here's a tip for leveling up: Buy the treasure chest upgrade and do this repeatedly until you get to a really high level, you can get alot of diamonds when you get around to the third upgrade of the treasure chest.

The games needs an in-game achievement where you defeat the boss under a certain amount of time, like 30 seconds or something, around 30-50 money.

@lillusom, although sextant is an awesome naval-related word, the health is indicated in boring old anchors. 1 anchor = 1 hit point. Sextants are the obvious choice for ships' health huh? ;P

@sysy the 'shield' balls on the second boss fan out. When they do, slip between them and hammer the boss, when they start to come back in, get out. Rinse and repeat until the 2nd boss goes boom.

and necro you get the free gold from lacch when you go offscreen for a bit, click on the screen when the picture of a guy with an eyepatch pops up and he says come back and i'll give you some free gold :D

Why ahy ahy!. the third boss. I beat him with no hit. But right next thing there was another boss being born from the third boss. What a surprise..... almost got him by making his health 1/10 but I couldn't win.

Great game. I think it could be even better if you looked at the frequency that anchors drop.
When anchors are random drops, you can go an entire game only seeing one or two of them. This happened to me several times when trying to beat the last boss, which made me quite in frustration.
If they were based on a timer or a number of killed enemies, it would make the game much more enjoyable for those of us who get hit a couple of times before getting to the final boss.

i thought the final boss was easy, but i did not care so i went in to collect my stuff then i died cause i was on my last life.

mhahaha finished it in first run on this comp and didnt get hit on last boss(bosses) and i have 1 life left, talk bout using hardcore like on mechanical commando 2

It's sorta funny because I can defeat the third boss without getting hit but cannot defeat the second boss without getting hit, but its probably just me :D
