this game is good but not nearly long enough. look at "Mardek Chapter 2" for a good example of a super lengthy flash game. thats how they should all be

i do however agree about the health, i have like level 20 attack and the best sword and bosses seem to never want to die

good game but bosses have WAYYYYYYY too much health...take 10 minutes just to kill and gets very boring in doing so. Game would be better if boss life was reduced as to speed up gameplay.

Not bad! Not Bad at all actually! The Gameplay was very well done and the enemys pretty... none cheating like most games do. It get VERY boring after a while, for me it was the witch boss. I killed it without lossing a single life, to damn easy. Well done anyway. 4/5

Carados, you're an idiot, this is nearly identical to the first Zelda game for Nintendo. This is a version of a game that came out long before your time, don't show your ignorance by pretending you know more than everyone else.
It's really good, I thought. The music is pretty true to the original while being original itself, the dialogue is pretty witty. The enemies aren't nearly as tough or as varied as in Zelda, but this is Flash, so that's all good. I'm a little stuck at this lava wall thing so I'ma go get a walkthrough. The only thing that gets me is the price on the weapon and armor upgrades. I mean, I've nearly finished the game here, I always kill everything in every screen I pass through, and I just almost have enough to afford one of those items... and I didn't buy ANYTHING else except the life burst. I know it's to encourage further play, but you shouldn't have to play the game the equivalent of 3 times as long just to get the items, IMO.

this game is just boring... im just supposed to just walk around and kick every spider i meet? somebody SHOULD tell me what my more-immediate-than-final goal is at least... however there must have been a lot of worh with this one. 3/5

The game just completely screwed up for me. I saved in Goznor's castle and then reloaded it the next day and I couldn't attack, and using my special ability caused the game to freeze. What's going on? I created a new file and the same thing is happening from the start.

Good game. Bosses are too easy, though, and some directions would help. That's one of the things I hated about Zelda, but I can see how it would fit in a Zelda parody.

guys this is a really good game, you just have to stick to it for like 10 minutes and maybe you'll understand it, if you don't then you are officially declared a retard
only problem is maybe hints from npcs or so will make some of the puzzles or w/e easier

another thing... last boss = too easy... just pressed 8 and x/m in hes face and didnt care to beeing hit. only lost 1 bandage.
u got the engine now u just need to come up with nice maps enemies and alot more puzzles :> can't wait for your next game :>

Finally finished it. Well worth my time. Gordzak was a lot easier than I thought he would be though. I kind of just spammed magic on him and he went down like a clown in China Town.

well i played zelda alot and this is a good point to start but u need a bit more work with the game like fighting on the coloseum until last boss defeat him and let yourself die then just REPEAT and get all exp u need in a few minutes...
some good puzzles but u need more, ALOT more :> :>
and there should be a teleport or smtn i didnt buy that last sword cause it was too far away...

this game needs a special "wave 31" at the colloseum for a TRULY CHALLENGING epic boss fight. like maybe either all bosses at once, or some unbeliavably powerful boss. all games like this need some kind of just almost invincible secret enemy, for you to use all your crazy power ups against

Just finished it. Bandages make it too easy. Maybe if you make a second game, weaken them a little. I was able to just mash X and beat the last boss.

Nice game, but bosses have too much life. You get the concept of how to beat the bosses after one or two minutes, then you don't take hits. To then continue the same boring fight for a good 10 or 20 minutes is just a test of the player's patience, it doesn't add to the challenge. I too quit the game at the green ogre because after spending 20 minutes spinning my character in a circle, I don't want to continue.

Hmm...
Good game engine, but poor game design.
It is generally a bad idea to have your players beat the game, and then make them beat what is essentially the same game a SECOND time in order to "win."
Variety is the spice of life, this game has way too much repetition. Like Zelda, but without any sort of puzzles of motivation to keep going, as it is just a giant grindfest. :(
