Introduce a rating system (e.g. time spent to complete each level) and an objective (e.g. earn golden / silver / bronze stars depending on the time you need to complete the level) could add something to the game.

The snapping was ok but it managed to make the level impossible on my first attempt at the key level. Good though overall

This game needs modes.
Easy: What the game already is.
Medium: No snapping mechanic.
Hard: No snapping mechanic, no background outline of the actual shape.
Game time.

Increase difficulty by creating "sliding fold points" - ie... let the knobs where it hooks up be shiftable from one corner of a shape to another: We have to puzzle out which corner it belongs at in order to solve.

In the level with the fish shape, I experienced some part stuck to another. I had to reset. I tried the shapy stuff one afterwards and without the snapping it is sometimes frustrating.

Easy. Easy. Easy. Easy. Hey, this one requires a bit of thought... what do you mean I'm done? Where's the rest of the intermediate levels, let alone the hard ones?

Congratulations! You have completed the game! WHAT ????????? ????
I thought i was in the mid levels S:just starting the difficult ones .. CMON .. Too Short very entertaining. 5 min game. But 4/5. 4/5 cause the game helps you too much when the pieces stucks in correct place ...

A way to manually lock piece in place rather then the auto snap would be good, I spent most of my time moving the pieces around awkwardly since many of the moves would be much simpler with your hands

I can see why people think the auto-snapping makes the game too easy, but it does make the manipulation of complex chains of shapes a lot easier. Maybe you could offer three difficulty levels - Easy with auto-snap, Hard with no snapping, and a Medium difficulty where the player can lock a piece in place by clicking it rather than dragging it?
Thanks for the feedback everyone! Your solution, seems like best solution for this kind of game. However, the problem with manual snap is that old adobe flash players don't support mouse right-click button. And adding keyboard as control for a very simple game seems too clunky. Another problem with manual snap is players locking themselves into wrong solutions. Also locking 1 part would cause all connected chain of parts locked together which could add even more clunkiness and frustrate players. I do agree that the game is too easy and if i ever decide to make Shape Fold 3, i may consider adding difficulty options as you suggested.

Still remember Shape Fold 1. A little better than the original but still suffers from certain problems. I propose you make a Snap tool (snaps a shape in place whether right or wrong) to help alleviate this problem. Overall, it's good old relaxing way to spend your minutes.

Beating the dead horse, auto lock feature removes any challenge or fun. However, I do like the concept, it's just not there yet...

Very amusing to play.
I enjoyed myself quite much, but if i had to point to a flaw is that you could not turn the snapping of pieces off/on.
5/5 man! hope to see more in the future

First game was a double puzzle of sorts... A puzzle to figure out the alignment, and another to balance the movement using the grabbing mechanisms. This second game not only took out the second puzzle altogether by blocking piece movement, but diminished the first puzzle as well, as trial and error became the primary method of solving that. It doesn't even feel like a puzzle anymore.

Rather interesting, but as has been said, way to short. Also, the snapping makes the puzzles rather interesting. Kudos for the BG Music, so a 4/5 overall

I think you should make it lock only when an entire branch of pieces is put into place and not just the individual ones.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Enjoyable for a (very) short while, but way too easy and, well, short. Needs more complicated levels which actually require some thinking. Also, as mentioned already, in the key level the snapping may make the solution impossible, so if this gets larger and more interesting levels, it will need a way to cancel snapping (other than restarting)

maybe for the snap have us manually lock the pieces into place, because without a locking mechanism i would hate this lol. But i do agree the snapping does make it a wee bit too easy. especially on the last level; I had a plan and then all the sudden a couple blocks locked in and kind of took the puzzle part out of it 4/5 :)

5 stars, enjoyable and easy gameplay. As others have mentioned the snapping should be made an option. Maybe shift-click or similar to lock pieces would be a better option?

A different twist on puzzle games, in a good way, but when pieces lock in place, it makes the game too easy. Maybe take out the auto-lock and give the user the option to lock pieces they think are right. Example: Shift- click on a piece to lock it, shift-click on a locked piece to unlock it.
