lance is genuinely useless compared to knight and wizard. Ended up having to switch the knight from orc to Skeleton every few rounds, while my lance just lost every match

I suppose you guys are right. 8 hours sounds about spot on for a BotD. (Well, more like 2-3 for this one.) This game / badge should be just FINE. [sits back and let's everybody sort that one out]

I know it's past BoTD time, but seriously, the best strategy is pretty much to reset as soon as one of your army seems to be getting crushed consistently.
Play a bit first to get a feel for what you'll be against, but seriously all of your armies should be able to bear everyone with the right loadout and strategy. Having an underleveled army is pretty much suicide.

Thanks for the mute button. The game might be kinda cool, but the some of the music--looking at you Set Up bgm--is so hideous I'd honestly rather jab my ear drums with an ice pick.

Interesting game, but wrong badge is BotD. Shouldn't take this long, not to mention this kind of game is a bit of a push to beat for certain people. Complications with this and other games mean no shiny for me this week. Thanks brasspoles. Hope you're happy.

Before you kill the final gate... lose some battles and train a bit.... Also you can press the back arrow at the top to reset your save to before you sent your 3 guys and spent at the shop.

This game is so freaking laggy that I can't even drag the bombs because it just stays on the middle of the screen and I can't even click my troops to activate their abilities (I have enough mana). Terrible choice as a BotD.

It took me a while to understand how this is was going to work.. So apparently it is fine to lose a couple of battles. Make sure to go for MP regen and the big Bomb then it will be a piece of cake. That was fun.

Well, best strategy is to spawn all units at one point and let them rush to other side... Bomb enemies from other lines to survive until your troops do their work.

At first I thought it was terrible, but after coming up with a good strategy it was actually good. the only issues are lag and bomb hotkeys, I pressed 1 and it didn't work, so I assumed the game didn't have hotkeys, but then I just scrolled down and it says the hotkeys are 1-5, so idk why it didn't work.

Fun but pretty easy once you figure out that you can usually just put all units in one spot, destroy enemies in that line with bombs, and instantly win as your entire squad qets through

Pretty easy game. I didn't even think of where to put what unit. I just randomly dragged them around. Then I figured out that I needed to put multiple units in one place in order to destroy the spawner. Destroy all 3 spawners to be able to fight the final boss and beat the game. I upgraded my weakest stats because from upgrading 1 to 2 means doubling it while going from 3 to 4 means only a 33% upgrade.

but, but, spearmen are the best... and for those who think the game is unforgiving, cause you can hardly afford any defeat - it has SAVES.

Flash sucks. That's why it's slow. AAA games are literally a million times bigger and run on computers where Flash games lag on.

I've found wizards being the easiest since you can activate their ability as soon as they leave the spawnpoint, they push enemies back so that they get killed (fall off the cliff maybe). Spearmen had the hardest time to level up, they are best if you make them form a fist. Warriors are best put in a front, then slam ice bomb right before ordering charge, then slam a boom bomb. Easy enough. Leveling up - skip push, doesn't seem to be useful.

The game seems very laggy. That might be either because of SuperNova SWF Enabler or because the game has too many entities in it at one time.

Jesus, that was a tough game. It is somewhat unbalanced since you can only level up your character once they win a fight, and at certain points, it gets too hard to manage, specially with the spearman. So you end up having 2 buffed units and one weak 1 that can't improve since the enemy waves become so unmanageable. One way to remedy this is to level up regardless of winning or losing, but when you win, you get more point to level up. I ended up winning the game cuz i rushed each line with the 3 heroes at once and during battle I used the ice and fire bomb at the same time as well as using bertha as soon as it's available. Just focus on one spot during battle to clean the space of enemies asap and then rush. Put some soldiers on other spots under attack but focus on one to send the most.

To get medium badge, just stack all units on middle column to start with and wipe it out quickly, then stack them all on next to wipe out. Put all units in same spot and rush them across line for victory. Use all the bombs to slow defend the hole you leave but stacking all of your units. I got medium in 15 minutes this way.

Strategy was a big factor in me winning, like putting a small wave of knights/spearmen and then spamming the rest in a single point to break through and kill the enemy instantly (almost). Also 1st thing to buy would probably be The big bomb or mana regen and health.

Genuinely fun game! My tips would be "get all the bombs" and 'try to close the pathways one-by-one if you can so you can get to the final boss quicker'.

An (easier) way to win is to mass units in one spot and spam their ability to get to the other side. If you commit hard enough, you can defeat the enemy before their units have a chance to get to your side.

Great game, I had a lot of fun!
Needs a little work on balancing, I lost a round with the spearmen early on and they were never able to recover in terms of level, making them useless for most of the playthrough. My knights/wizards (especially my wizards) were overpowered by the end though, so I was able to take out the boss extremely quickly.

just beat the entire game in a cold sweat and bleeding tears of success (I suck at every game ever) before i went into the description and realized there were hotkeys for the bombs and i just paniced because of how many problems that could've solved. 4/5 great game but the hotkeys need to be informed about in the game itself (unless i just missed it somewhere)
